    l am really happy to hear that the bf wants to try some stuff out, it just goes to show that his curiousity is sparked. You just never know where this will go, he may get right into the lifestyle. He is looking for something...and if he comes across the right information at the right time he may well get hooked. l really like that you are juicing sprouts now, it doesn't get better than that and l really hope you get the full benefits (you should).

    l would stress to the bf that he should take the juices very slowly. Maybe drink 30 ml of green juice a day for the first week on an empty stomach. lf he takes it too fast he will get sick and will be blown out. Maybe even try to get him to eat some alfalfa sprouts before his main meal at night. Always slowly...step by step.

    A similar situation with myself. l wasn't interested at all in health, but a friend was always talking about raw food, enzymes and cleanses and how good it was. lt meant nothing to me but l was always interested in how he would be so interested in such nonsense, so l eventually come to reaise that there must be something special about these raw foods. He leant me a book and it opened my eyes completely...I WAS HOOKED!!!

    He is happily drinking about 4floz - no idea what that is in ml - half in the morning and half after work. We usually have some sprouts on the go and I probably quadrupled this since he said he'd like to try it. Not sure I want to be the one responsible for all the growing. He is really looking forward to the fenugreek and I am waiting for the peas. I was surprised by the sweetcorn greens juice.

    l had one of the best days ever today, l felt completely AMAZING!!! Soon as l started with my wheatgrass juice l knew today was going to be really special. Then l went heavy on the sunflower green and pea shoot juice and had some fenugreek juice, and boy oh boy, did l shoot straight to the moon. l was on a great mental and physical high all day long and felt invinsible. Then l topped up on kelp and E3 live in the afternoon and it got even better. l was beside myself...l was on cloud 10 and was superman for the day. l was in such high spirits. l rang a friend tonight and he couldn't believe the energy l was radiating over the phone, he said he had never come across anything like it. He said l was like a machine and he was completely blown away by how l came across. He said l spoke so well and had a mind like a steel trap and radiated so much motivation and enthusiasm.

    Did you do anything differently then usual, or do you think you're just reaching the point where this is going to be a normal occurrence for you?

    6 bunches of organic celery and 10 organic carrots! Carrots are so sweet I can't take much more than that. Super yummy!

    At some point this will become mania and it's not pleasant even though it is a high. Feeling happy and content is good; mania is not.

    Not at all. Mania is a mental disorder. Mental disorders are characteristics of ill health. Ill health is virtually impossible on the sproutarian diet. I dramatically oversimplified that, of course, but it's still true.

    The average person just goes through life with so little energy, enthusiasm, and vitality that anything approaching the well being that Mr. Raw just described is seen as dangerous, or a sign that something is wrong. It's not, it can and should be the norm rather then the exception. Advanced, long-term meditators are able to reach states of such complete bliss and joy that it is indescribable to someone who hasn't experienced it, but that's not a sign of "mania" but rather an expanding of consciousness. The sproutarian diet alone causes a massive expansion in consciousness, and toxins prevent it. Therefore, a good detox while on the sproutarian diet will lead to the feelings of well-being and joy that Mr Raw described. I myself experience this, but probably to a lesser degree.

    Just like SAD eaters classifying raw veganism (and much less "extreme" diets) as orthorexia, people who have never experienced such joy or well being, or imagined that it is possible, will likely label it as mania or some other sort of mental disorder. That doesn't mean they're right, anymore then the SAD eaters are, but rather that, like the SAD eaters, they lack the necessary knowledge and experience to understand it.

    There's a major difference between artificial highs and the feelings of well being, bliss and joy brought about by an expansion in consciousness. The former is addictive, temporary, and detrimental, the latter is not - the highest level of bliss may be temporary, but as I continue down the sproutarian and detox pass then I start to live in a perpetual state of bliss unlike anything else, and it just increases as time goes on.

    Mania is a state induced (for whatever reason) by body chemistry. It can be naturally induced or artificially induced.

    No. lt's a very well balanced high. lt's a good relaxed in control high. A very high order high.

    Today was a pretty wild juice day as well. Felt awesome.

    * ryegrass juice
    * red clover sprout juice
    * chia grass juice
    * fenugreek sprout juice
    * pea shoot juice

    Can't wait until l get some more buckwheat, broccoli seeds, red clover and alfalfa seeds. lt is so hard to get stuff in my country. l want to boost the juices to 40oz for a month or two (+ the 6 - 8 oz of grass juice) to see what they effect is, but l want a different variety of seeds in big quantities. Fortunately the sunflower greens are starting to grow much better in the last fee days so at least l have another juice up my sleeve, and the buckwheat is coming very soon.

    Exactly. John Kohler is always on a high as well. He is always LOUD and excitable, but he certainly isn't manic.

    Your definition of a high is different from mine then. I define it as an abnormality. What you are talking about is what you consider should be the norm. The two are very different.
