Day Twenty two !
A pretty weird day today for me !, again not hungry..nor thirsty either.
Had apple and a banana, handful of nuts
Then this evening, the smallest advocado, had a huge stone in it not much flesh maybe two small spoonfuls, made a bit of guacomole, a carrott and bit of cucumber to dip..
Had my twin boys junior school leaving service at church, felt very emotional all day.

I fell off the wagon hard. I had a huge fight with my sister... was rather nasty. My dad died in June and left a mess of bills, a mobile home the bank wants to take away (one that I was supposed to be able to move in to), and a car attached to the home loan (that I could really use since I haven't had a car the last 3 years). We're not seeing eye to eye on a lot and it really blew up. *sigh*
I've had a mostly raw day today. Had 3 bananas for breakfast. Ate a huge mixed greens salad with cauliflower a couple hours ago. Also had a handful of crackers that weren't raw that were left over from the falling off the wagon. Should be back to 100% tomorrow though. Dealing with a headache today from eating bad food... rather sucks but it's serving as a reminder.
Happy to see everyone else is doing so well.

I'm finding things quite tricky at the moment. All raw yesterday but feeling wobbly already today. Cherries and strawberries for breakfast and there are some toms but if I can get through on "high raw" today I shall be quite pleased.
They really are MT. Doesn't help she's a bit greedy, self-centered, controlling and likes to play mind games (manipulative). I think she forgets just how well I know her. Ah well, who needs family anyhow.
Eating more of my comfort food. Bananas! Glad my SO bought me a huge bunch of them this time. Think if we have a little extra money soonish I need to head to the farmer's market and get some vine ripe tomatoes and some sweet corn. I'm really looking forward to decent tasting tomatoes with some basil and a pinch of sea salt. And raw corn on the cob is at the top of my list of yummy foods too. I also started another batch of sprouts. The last ones sorta went bad when we stopped eating raw last weekend.
I only buy vine ripened toms. We were hoping for a lovely lot of home grown ones but it's been so wet and the plants all have blight
Hi everyone! I haven't been posting for a couple of days 'cause I've been so busy.
I've been eating mostly watermelon, bananas, and oranges. And I had some really good zucchini noodles too.
Today I started the dady with some watermelon, watermelon juice, and apricot-orange juice.
For lunch I'm going to have a green salad with some nuts and seeds, and maybe a smoothie.
Don't know what I'll have for dinner.
Can okras be eaten raw?

Hello everyone. It sounds like you are all doing well.
I am taking the family on a vacation for a long weekend. A vacation is typically a time when "normal folk" let their hair down and eat rich foods that do not eat regularly. Hence, gaining weight while on vacation is typical. I, however, have packed 16 bananas, 8 oranges, chia seeds, sesame seeds, 4 avocados (4 days), 4 apples. I even have a cooler with romaine, carrots, raw ranch, cucumbers and other salad fixings. I may loose weight on vacation (I won't be able to graze).
Speaking of weight loss, my perspective on exercise has changed after becoming raw. I hated to exercise because it was hard and I could not do it very long. The calories that I could burn exercising were always so low and it felt like it was more pain that it was worth. Now, I have so much energy and endurance. I have been burning an extra 1000 calories a day without even trying. I am having fun to boot. Vacation is going to impact that, but I'll just get back on it when I return.

Sunshine: hang in there!!! I've recently had a similar thing happen with my sister too. We actually didn't speak for over a year over it and it really hurt our relationship. So, I can totally feel your frustration. And, I'm SO sorry about your Dad!
MysticTree: If aiming for high raw is the best you can do right now, do it! It's definitely better to be high raw than to just give up! Believe me, raw is still a challenge for me too. Having a raw business helps me out SO much. But there are even times now when it's still a challenge for me. But I'm not trying to live up to anyone's 100% rawness. I do the best I can...which I'm sure you're doing too. I'm SO glad you're still posting here because lurkers who read this thread will see that none of us are perfect, but at least you're still trying and that encouraging!
RobH: Hope you all have a fantastic trip!!!!!! I SO wish I were joining you!!!! That sounds like SO much fun...and your to go package sounds DELISH!!!!! Make sure you're taking plenty of water also and some nuts for crunchy nibbles. Can't wait to hear how it goes!!!!

Crystal: Its funny...I've had days like that too where you just don't want anything at all! Make sure you don't forget about your water intake though! As hot as its been here, I'd just shrivel up if I didn't at least drink...
I had to work last night, so I brought leftovers home to get me through: Raw Donut Holes and Pizza (raw cheese, Sundried tomato sauce, Spinach, Olives). Hopefully I can eat it. I did have a Salad yesterday and so I think my sickness is over, though my daughter's still not outta bed. She is drinking Carrot juice though, and able to keep it down.

I've been high raw the last few days, but have been cheating with a couple non-raw (but Vegan) things. I can feel it - I'm less clear and feel a little sluggish as a result. Ah well, lots of fruit today and we'll see if that changes :)

I've been re-painting my Son's room (it's VERY blue now) today, so I actually didn't eat anything until about 12:30. Then, I had a Green Smoothie (Spinach, Banana, and Pineapple) and a Lettuce Wrap (Romaine, Tomato, Shredded Carrots, Zucchini, Avocado, and Marinated (in Nama Shoyu) Mushrooms and Onions).... TOO GOOD!!!! And VERY. filling!!! I'm looking forward to eating my pizza for Dinner with a small Salad.
