Silly me. I started on the Aug. early..Thanks for setting me straight. Thats the Bipolar in me lol.

    Day 2# Breakfast = 1/3 watermelon
Lunch = bananas = same veggie salad as yesterday
Supper = Same salad ( only have two more meals of it left) more bananas
Put in a nice walk today plus a short workout at the gym in the apt. building. Feeling great.
I want so much to eat all the recipes I use to, the only thing is that I want them all NOW lol.
I live by myself, well, not really, I have my cat (Paxil) and she doesn't help me eat up to much.
So that leaves me alone to eat each thing I make, no, I do not only make half a recipe, that way I have
a good excuse to eat big.

I just taught the most AMAZING Alissa Cohen Level 1 Class EVER!!! My Sous Chef (my Mom) and I drove to Austin and certified a student there! The drive was incredible!!! I never new Austin was SO beautiful!!! On the drive there, we snacked on Bananas and drank Kumbucha (I'm TOTALLY addicted!!!).

My student knew a lot about eating raw, so I got to go beyond the basic "Ok, raw is uncooked veggies" thang, which was refreshing! She loved the class! My favorite part was when I showed her how to make a Raw Lasagne and her Hubby tasted it and ended up eating the ENTIRE Lasagna!!!! LOL!!! She wasn't even sure he'd even try the food, but he loved everything he tasted. She said that she felt more confident to continue eating raw and will definitely expand her business to include it. I think she's going to make an amazing Chef!!!

We ate Cherries and Candied Almonds on the way home and snacked on the Dehydrated Pineapple I made before the trip. We tried to find Beets Cafe, but ended up getting lost because if all the turns and hills!!! When she takes Level 2 we will stop by there for sure!

I just LOVE doing Alissa Classes!!!!

    Day 33

Good day for me, ran out of bananas so no smoothie for me, then got very hungry at lunchtime (danger point for me !!), made guacomole (all whizzed up for a change not chunky) with carrots and cucumber.

Later made a lovely fresh juice with orange, apples, carrots and ginger (been craving that for some reason!)..

This evening made that nice slaw salad, seriously good, (Robh you need to try it lol).. I left half for tomorrow but just been to polish the rest off ! .. My son Elder son Zack tried some and asked me to make somr for him tomorrow so thats a result (my little son luca didnt eat his cooked tea but picked on my salad, hes awful at eating apart from fruit ! a born fruitarian I think but still worry about him getting the right nutrition, need to build him up a bit !).

I have a load of beetroot from my organic box , not really sure what do to with it any good ideas anyone?, I know I could juice some...

Snowshoe, 15 lbs in four days eeek...that sounds like alot of weight to loose at once !!!.. Mystic you are very kindhearted xx

Reneeh - great stuff ! must be fantastic to teach like that, I've decided next year that I would like to go on some courses, maybe a chef type raw course or living foods practioner maybe !... x lol obviously need to practise what preach first ha ha ha..

Although I had a little cooked yesterday, I didnt feel bad about it and didnt go off on a mega cooked tangent, I found I couldnt physically eat as much as I could before and It didnt actually taste that good, I also realise alot is psycological, I used to treat the weekends as treat time, ie some bad foods ect ...need to switch my mentality, also that is a trigger point for me !..

Wellcome to everyone new posting x

Feeling really tranquil with Raw at the moment. Strawberries, bananas, grapes, nectarines, tomatoes to last me through the day and then a salad with avo for my evening meal at about 5-6pm when I get home. Almost all my work surface is covered in seeds that are either sprouting or soaking! We are seriously upping the ante when it comes to sprouting.

Lost 3 lbs this past week. I think because I had time off and was busy so not eating out of boredom. I eat a LOT of fruit at work and am starting to wonder if most of it is just boredom eating.

Got a very nice pair of shoes from the charity shop - new they would have been about £70.00 and they are in fab condition and only cost £10.00. I don't normally spend that much on shoes even new (!) but it was too good a deal to miss.

My favourite jeans are getting close to the point of needing a belt. I can actually slip them off without undoing the button or zip if I try! Going to need some new underwear too. It's flapping loose in a very unflattering way!

Hello everyone, I am in a rush right now, trying to get work done.

I had cooked food again last night and a few beers. Celebration is such a easy excuse to jump off the raw wagon. I want to use August 1st as a new commitment to 100% raw. I intend to be 100% raw today and tomorrow too.

Anyway, I am sorry that I don't have time to post more. Maybe after work tonight. Good luck all!

RenneH, that's cool that you do the raw food teaching thing. I poked around on those other sites a little (saw the link on the forum). I don't get it to be honest. lol

Divine Soul, I had a papaya a few months ago (my first). It smelled like... well... dog poop. (I am not being smart either. The stuff that comes out of a dog is the only thing I could think of that it smelled like). I wasn't a big fan to say the least.

MysticTree, it sounds like some time off work has really benefited you. Congrats on needing new clothes. That's awesome.

Crystal2870, I REALLY want to try that slaw. I actually went to make it a few nights ago. The cabage did not taste good (under ripe, I was told). Maybe I will swing by the grocery store on the way home and pick up a head. I would really enjoy a break from my daily romaine salad. Also, given that you eat it so frequently, it must be good. :) I also hate it when I run out of bananas. The grocery stores sell the ripe ones at a discounted price, though. That's handy.

I am curious, does any feel MORE hungry AFTER they eat? Right now, for instance, I am feeling really hungry (I think it's hunger). The reason why is because I ate three bananas, a peach and a nectarine. Prior to eating, I was fasting, waiting until I felt hungry. I felt a little hungry so I ate. Now, I feel really hungry. So annoying!

Am I the only one who feels like this after eating?

I think it is normal you are feeling hungry after you ate because you were fasting because you haven't aten in awhile and your body is not used to it , makes sense :)

Ya I gave my papaya to the wild pheasants lol. hope they enjoy it :P We won't be going back to that grocery store in a week or more so no point in saving it to take back ;)

Yay for WalMart but I cannot imagine their UK arm (ASDA) ever getting them. It's been a good day today. Tired after being back at work but food has been easy. I even left my fruit bowl at work for tomorrow. Normally I cling to it and carry it back with me.
