I have a Breville Ikon. On youtube videos, people often turn it on and juice the items all at the same setting and then turn it off. If i throw in grapes, cherries, or raspberries, the juicer just chucks the items into the catchment without much juicing. So I've learned to do is leave the juicer off, stuff the first 3rd of the chute with crunchie greens(kale, cabbage, collard, then pack the middle third with the soft fruit, then top off with a hard veggie(more greens, carrots, cukes, celery). Then I turn on the juicer. It doesn't really matter what the speed and then slowly push the contents through, about 1/5 of the chute at a time. Then I turn off the juicer and refill the chute accordingly. I find that all the contents get juiced smoothly without big chunks of it being thrown into the pulp basket. Anyone else do this?
