    Default Do you juice daily?

So I started juicing daily 2 weeks ago. At first I was a little bit unhappy with throwing away the pulp, but now I realize I was being silly. The juicing goes to 4 adults daily. Hopefully it sticks. We'll see but I'm optimistic

No, unless I am juice feasting! I would love to juice everyday, but it's pretty expensive to juice.

I have a cheapy juicer so I put the pulp back through several times until it basically has no color. I also use my Vitamix to juice (when it's not in the shop...) and then strain through a nut milk bag. There is barely any pulp left when I do it that way....like a T. or 2.

We eat out once or twice a week. The amount spent for one meal would buy enough juicing materials for 1-2 weeks easy.

    Then you are very fortunate!

I, though, am very financially challenged and can't juice as much as I would like to and right now I can't juice at all.

I understand that! It is the reason that I got started juicing some non traditional edibles. Dandelions, garlic mustard, pine needles, even grass from the back yard! I started working on my garden hot and heavy this week. I started some amaranth, red clover, millet, sunflowers and some popcorn. I'm going to juice all of it!

I guess I am. I didn''t mean to rub it in if that's what it sounded like. My in-laws live with us, so they're living expenses are nil. With their SSI and with retirement they have the time and money to buy most of the veggies. So yes, we are fortunate.

I have been juicing once a week now but I blend the other days. Hooked on watermelon smoothies and spinach/orange smoothies. yummy.
