    Let's hit the ground running!

    Today's workouts

AM: 4 mi run before work, the sprints I did earlier in the week helped. I guess they will be added to my program.

    Lunch: walked 2 mi

    PM:
    WOD
    21-15-9-3-9-15-21 (reps) for time
    KB swings 1pood (35#)
    push ups
    K2E

Time: 17:25; KB swings got sloppy during the final 21, I had to slow down and break it up. Knees to elbow hurt, but I like them.

    Get some!

We came home a day early from camping due to some car issues.... Oh well.. It was beautiful!!!

So my exercise for the last 4 days was....

Hiking over a pretty steep hill and then down the other side to a pond that was about 1 1/2 miles away, then back up the road to our camp which was another 1 1/2 miles away.
Hiking in the woods around the camp site.
Playing with the kiddos and having fun!

I stayed home today getting over allergies. Slept most of the day, ate fruits and veggies. In the late afternoon I decided to workout and then some.

This workout is for St Jude's, Tomorrow CF 'rs will do the in DC will do this workout at John Marshall park. I figured a little cold shouldn't hold me back! If this doesn't motivate you to get up and move...........

    "Hope" http://hope.crossfit.com/

"Hope" has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.

    Three rounds of:
    Burpees (still suck)
55 pound Power snatch (1st time doing this with a barbell)
    Box jump, 24" box
    55 pound Thruster
    Chest to bar Pull-ups

I had no upper body strength, but I fought through it. Rested 15 min, then cut the grass. GET SOME!

Today was planning on resting, so I went downtown with my wife and while she was getting her nails done I drove to one of the civil war battlefields in order to walk a few mi. Well, why walk when I can run. So that's what I did, ran 4mi up and down the hills. Great workout in the humid WX, I had to buy a new shirt at the local WM.

Now I know what I am doing next time she wants to get her nails done. The shorter the wait the faster I will run. Get some!
