Out of curiosity, why are you trying to blend them less?
High-speed blending tends to destroy some of the nutrients due to oxidation; it's not really a big deal if you only blend for under 30 seconds or so, but then I'm a perfectionist :)
Is it your thinking that the fiber holds on to part of the nutrients if the juice is not separated from it?
It does, but that's not really relevant in this case...I already juice all of the sprouts that can be easily juiced. The sprouts that I blend are ones that don't juice so well, such as legume, pseudograin, nut and seed sprouts.

Sprouted and dehydrated buckwheat is a great raw granola ingredient.

I have been super into sunflower sprouts lately - soak, let sprout 24 hours, and then dehydrate.
love them sprinkled on salad, or use the FP to make a pate to spread on wraps or romaine leaves.

delmar - can you explain your millet sprouts for pasta? How long do you sprout them?

I soak 4 TBSP of millet overnight in a quart jar. In the morning I drain, add 1 TBSP of flax and shake them up. I rinse twice a day for 3 or four days, till the jar is full.

Talk to the forum Admin about that. I'm pretty sure they have it set not to allow that, but it wouldn't have to be.

I have radish seeds, 5 lbs of mung beans and a couple lbs of flax coming on Friday along with 40 lbs of organic oranges. Woohoo! I'm going to try sprouting flax and chia on some unbleached cotton in a nursery flat and see how it goes. Mr. Raw has me all excited about chia sprouts. I want to pick up some... is it black oil sunflower seeds people are growing? Can you get it at the pet store? We have to make a run there in a few days for some kitty items.

Yes I eat sprouts like sprouted alfalfa..... I saute this and add some tofu on it.... Very delicious.

Hehe...After reading everything you sprout and your sprout experiments. I must say, Delmar you are a sprouting Beast man! I am going to have to look over some of your ideas. I have been raw for 12 days now and I almost have a big batch of sunflower sprouts and wheatgrass fully grown! Tomorrow they are ready and I cannot wait.

I'm not afraid to try new things, that's for sure, though not all of my ideas turn out to be good ones!
