Hey there - I'm new to this raw food forum and am looking to get integrated into this seemingly great community of people!
I have been raw off and on in the past, once for over a month (but eating a higher fat content, which did not work too well for me). I have experimented with 80/10/10, and for the most part I have felt great. The only thing that I didn't feel great about was how little dark greens I was getting (I don't always have time to make a green smoothie or a nice salad). This time around I plan to eat 100% raw with the exception of steamed greens like broccoli, asparagus, and green beans for 30 days. I start on May 7th (when I get back from traveling for work) and I look forward to this very much!

The major thing that I'm looking for insight and support on is this: I have been struggling with an eating disorder for the past 2 years almost, which has gotten increasingly more intense as time goes on. I have had a binge/purge/heavily restrict relationship with food a while now, and it is incredibly mentally and emotionally draining. While I know I don't want to be 100% raw forever (I am more of a "staying healthy with the seasons" type person, and enjoy warms soups and vegetables and grains in the colder months) - I feel like going raw right now is the best path out of this mess.

Is there anyone out there who has similar experiences with going raw and recovering from an ED?

Thanks for anyone out there who takes the time to respond
