Thank you that very nice comment, dear! I feel I do have a little extra joy today. I'm glad too, that it is noticeable, as that makes me smile all the more.

Okay I'll give you a quickie since I just haven't had the time to write anything yet.
I arrived late Thursday evening and was refreshed and ready to go for Friday's start time of 2pm. It was great. As soon as people were in the same room with each other they started sharing. Where they were from, what brought them there etc. It was like we all knew how close we were going to become over the weekend and so we just got started right away!
Friday was all about level one certification. Alissa taught the "class" so we'd all experience it and would take little moments here and there to explain the teaching end of things. By the end of the evening we could barely walk we were sooooooo full.
Sat began early (9) and it was much different. The morning was spent sharing. We all took turns talking about anything that was on our mind - Alissa was getting us into the best possible space for learning - so she wanted us to release whatever was occupying our minds. There was really deep sharing - tears and lots of support given. Then after lunch we started with level 2 - lots of sprouting, dehydrating and creating more complex gourmet foods.
WE LEARNED HOW TO MAKE GREZZO CHEESE! And it isn't hard at all! I'm making some next week. Super super excited to have that in the house for now on. (It freezes really well so make a few batches at the same time).
We went to bed overstuffed AGAIN.
Sunday morning we started off by sharing again. This time it took less time but it was still a long process with 24 students in the class. We learned about fasting, cleansing, supplements, skin brushing, neti pots - and how to teach the classes in a deeper way.
Then we had our celebration dinner with Alissa's Calzone. OH MY YOU HAVE TO MAKE THIS! It was truly amazing.
I have a million pictures which I will share later. I've been crazy busy this week but things need to slow down soon LOL I promise to share pics with you all.
Alissa is lovely. Stacie is so grounded and cool - covered in tattoos (yup, just like me). Alissa told me she figured we'd get along great and we did. LOVED Stacie's yoga moments throughout the weekend. (stretching is gooooooood when you've been sitting for what seems like forever!)
All the staff (chefs) in the kitchen were amazing people.
And my classmates were beyond wonderful. I love each of them - they were such a gift! Each bringing their own flavour into the weekend.
Of course, my fav was my "buddy" (we are buddied up for the weekend) - I'll never forget the gift she gave me at lunch on Saturday. "A listening ear". Just what I needed and honestly it made my weekend so much better because of the time she gifted me. (((hugs)))
If you are interested in growing spiritually, finding a deeper part of yourself and perhaps learning a thing or two about raw foods... take Alissa's certification. It's so much more than raw foods... so much more.

I wish we could persuade Alissa to come to the UK! Sounds as though you had a wonderful time.
-
WOW!!!! Boy, this SURE brings back memories for me!!!!!! Sounds like you had a FANTASTIC time...learning and sharing!!!!
Alissa's got MANY layers, huh! She really gives her heart to you!
I'm SO glad you got to experience this Aleesha! I really am!!! It's mind blowing how something as simple as food can affect every aspect of your life the way that it does!
-
Mystic, we had a student in the class from England. She and I travelled the furthest to the class.
The class is more about connecting with your Self and is a deep process - AND - you learn how to make some great food at the same time LOL It's just soooooo not only about food.
-
I would have to combine it with so much other stuff if I travelled to the States. The carbon footprint of the flights alone would be difficult for me to deal with.
-
That's what happened with Ann. Her son moved to Boston 6 months before the class. She was THRILLED!
So yeah, I hear ya.
-
Hey Aleesha...did Alissa make her Land and Sea from RFFE?
