Default I exercise hard- wondering if too much for juice diet

Hi. This is my first post. I started in January going to the gym and exercising on a regular basis. I take a lot of Les Mills classes at the gym like Bodypump (2x a week) Bodycombat 2x and CXworks 3x a week. The exercise has become addictive, and I love it, but I am not losing weight, although I have lost four inches off of my waist and four off of my hips. So I decided to start juicing and just started a few days ago and am already down four pounds. It seems incredible that all this exercising and calorie counting for four months has not done anything for my weight but juicing does it right away!

Anyway, I hope that I will be able to continue exercising as much as I do and still eat raw. I am trying to do a juice fast, but I have found that I have to have something like food, so I have juice in the morning, a salad for lunch, with a juice drink, and when I get home another salad with juice drink and another juice before bed. If I crave something else, I have fruit.

I am not feeling tired or anything, but I have a full week starting tomorrow of my normal exercise routine and am wondering if anyone can tell me if I am getting enough vitamins to get me through the week. I don't want to pass out or anything while in exercise class.

Only you can answer that question. You say you're not "feeling tired or anything"... seems as though you've answered your own question.

    I agree with Rev.

You aren't fasting... you are simply adding the extra nutrients that only juice or smoothies give you (by breaking down the cell walls and assisting our bodies to completely absorb the nutrients)... just make sure you are eating enough and only you know that answer.

And IF you are feeling light-headed... then give your body a break (whether in class or before class)... listen to your body. And if you need more food... then eat it!!! Don't limit yourself - your body deserves the very best you can give it.

It is possible to lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. One would think you would see some difference in the scale after posting these numbers...

yes. The body is shifting stuff around all the time and carries out more processes simultaneously than most computers!
