    Default Omega 8006 Owners, question....concerned

So I just got this juicer in the mail
unboxed it and I was really surprise
at how much play there is in the auger.

I feel like it is going to get stripped...
When I put it all together it seems okay
though when it spins its a bit wobbly.

So I picked up the phone and called them just
to ask if this was status quo..within 2 minutes
I was off the phone with a free auger being
    sent out.

Why question is does your juicer have this much
    play in the auger?

Otherwise I fired up a celery stick, a carrot, a kiwi, and two oranges for my
    first run and was impressed.

It's perfectly normal for this juicer design. Have one myself. Whilst I understand your concern, I assure you you needn't be. Had years of faithful service from mine. Once every 12-18months (if you are a frequent/heavy user), you can replace the auger, conical screen, and end cap (the captive silicone seal wears out eventually, leading to slightly less yield), but they will actually remain usable for considerably longer than that if you're less demanding.

I was interested in buying one of those for when I do my detox after I wean my baby. I have been looking at all of the reviews, and it looked like a good one. Please give us an update/review on how it does for you because I am thinking of buy one too. I saw that they have a 10 year warranty. Does that warranty include auger and screen replacement?

I have the 8003, which is the same except for the auger material. And yes, it's supposed to have play in it. If you watch Kohler's vid on it he explains that.
