Default Raw food 30 day diary - In Progress

I'm really doing this because before I decided to go raw again, I was scouring the internet for raw food diaries and such, so I reckon other people might benefit from mine. Plus, I was also very interested to read about the subtle day to day differences as people progressed in throughout their lifestyle changes.

I'm sorry if this isn't the proper section for this post but I didn't see a better one.

Previous diet/habits: Strict vegetarian for 7 years, very little dairy, lots of hard boiled eggs. No drugs, tons of previous underage drinking, no cigarettes for about 4 years. About 15 lbs overweight. No refined sugar since March (personal choice), and I also oil pull almost every day(say what you will, I have much whiter teeth than I have before, especially with these dang braces) I exercise and practice yoga on and off. I do the Brazilian Butt workout almost every day with my friend.

    Day 1
As I'm writing this, day 1 was yesterday. I did the Brazilian Butt work out.

I ate, over the course of the day
    - 2 young Thai coconuts
    - 1 canteloupe
    - green smoothie - banana, collard greens, mango, blueberries, strawberries
    - few sticks of celery
    - barely edible broccoli/avocado/almond soup
    - 1 cucumber
    - 1 mango
    - 1 avocado
    - green tea

I had a headache that started around noon and progressively got worse throughout the day, but it was never unbearable. I still felt great, particularly over not feeling guilty over everything I was eating, because I always have the tendency to overeat. I was a little concerned with the high fat content of all the food I ate at the end of the first day. Other than that I was really tired and bitter throughout the day. I went to bed around 9:30 but couldn't fall asleep until 1 am. I was close to breaking my diet as I was trying to sleep.

    Day 2
Headache was much lighter but still consistent and got heavier as the day went on. I woke up with very little morning breath and very little grogginess despite my lack of sleep. Did the butt work out with my friend and ate throughout the day.

    - 2 YT coconuts
    - 2 clementines
    - green smoothie - collard greens, banana, blueberries, mango
    - homemade guacamole with 2 avocados
    - 1 cucumber
    - half a bunch of celery
    - small handful of walnuts

Felt happier, but I was way more prone to chills today. Around noon, I felt the sort of lazy happiness that seemed to radiate from my insides, which I've never felt before. Usually any good vibes resonate from other places based on something actually happening. I also had a mental sharpness that I didn't have previously. The things people said resonated with me, like I was paying attention to what they were saying but I wasn't even trying to. Even when something unpleasant came up I was calm...er than I would have been, like I just did an hour of yoga (I haven't done yoga in like a week).
I felt more playful and thoughtful. Part of the reason is clearly because I want to be on this diet and as a silly girl, eating right and being sexy is kind of a big thing. I'm a little hesitant to chalk any positive changes at this stage to any actual effects of the diet vs. psychological self manipulation. I mean, it's only been 2 days! But whatever, as long I'm happy. I'll start putting up pictures tomorrow.

I am a really nervous over losing too much weight and being too skinny, especially since I want to add more muscle to my thighs and be strong enough to crush people at BJJ.

Great to hear this! I do Ashtanga yoga myself, great strength builder. I've heard of the brazilian butt workout... what's BJJ?

This is a really good idea. I may have to start one for myself. I'm not 100% raw and I don't think I ever will be (personal choice), but I always tout that I'm 80-85% raw and if I start a diary, I'll know for sure if I am or not. Thanks for the idea!

There's a place for blogs on this site. If EVERYONE posted their blogs on the forum itself ... well, everyone would be posting their blogs on the forum itself. Hmmmm....

Not sure why this had me LOL

It is, therefore, evident that it is possible to cure by foods, aliments and fruits; but as today the science of medicine is imperfect, this fact is not yet fully grasped. When the science of medicine reaches perfection, treatment will be given by foods, aliments, fragrant fruits and vegetables, and by various waters, hot and cold in temperature.
