Default One drop of period... is that all?

I've been high raw for 2 months. The other day when I went to the bathroom, I noticed one drop of red, and put a pad on, figuring I'd just gotten my period again. A little while later, I went to the bathroom again - and there was nothing. Several hours later, nothing. The next morning, nothing. It's now been 3 days and there's been nothing since then. I've read lots of stuff about periods just being a form of detox, and that when you're on a high raw diet and eating very healthy foods, some women have much lighter periods (and some cases of no period, but still ovulating.) That's my goal, to make my period much much more bearable and lighter. (It going away completely from being so healthy would be beyond amazing. ) My question is, is 2 months of high-raw and mostly organic enough to start affecting how light your period is? Has anyone experienced anything like this? I'm very curious to know if it's actually lightened up that much, and that was it this time, or if that was some random whatever and that wasn't it? It was 23 days into this cycle (it's usually 30-40 days but super irregular). What do you all think?

I have a large green drink every day, and basically everything else I eat all day is raw fruits, veggies, nuts, and seeds. The only things I really eat that aren't are store-bought coconut and almond milk and the occasional homemade slice of bread, pasta, or pizza. I don't eat anything processed and premade anymore, really.

2 weeks RAW VEGAN at the right time was enough to make me skip sanitary items and just wipe and go...I believe this is how it should be!

It is, therefore, evident that it is possible to cure by foods, aliments and fruits; but as today the science of medicine is imperfect, this fact is not yet fully grasped. When the science of medicine reaches perfection, treatment will be given by foods, aliments, fragrant fruits and vegetables, and by various waters, hot and cold in temperature.

I actually got it about 8 days after that, so I'm not sure what the drop was about, unless that kind of thing can be stress induced or something? It does seem to be better this month, though - no cramps/pms of any type, and possibly a little bit lighter? I'm waiting to see if maybe it will end sooner or something. I'm not sure how long before most of you noticed a difference, but in my opinion, 2 months raw and NO cramps (compared to sitting at home with a hot pad cramps) is an amazing improvement already!

And every 2 weeks must be annoying. At least yours is light, though. How long ahve you been raw?

Weird. Mine got way heavier and MUCH more painful when I was trying to be 100% raw. I went back to high raw and it got better.

I used to help host an infertility forum and have researched hormones quite a bit. It is my belief that if you are of age to have periods that you SHOULD have them. Not having them IMO is due to an imbalance of some sort. Good for you for trying to eat healthy!!!! However, you may be missing some good fats - EFA's or even have cholesterol that is too low. I believe anything under 150 is too low and since hormones are created with cholesterol, it stands to reason that having it too low, creates imbalances. Also , if your body fat is too low ---same thing....

    My thoughts.

I got my period yesterday morning, and it seems pretty much done with. It was very light, though I've still been eating a lot of cooked food.
I do notice when I eat much cleaner, it's much lighter. I don't have heavy periods, as I am always a whole foods vegan. When I was still SAD, my periods were heavier and I'd get cramps. Ridiculous- cramps, PMS, headaches... not natural!

I agree with Mary Kay- I think having some flow is healthy, no flow may mean you're not getting enough calories, fat, iron, zinc, or whatever. :)
