    Exclamation Juicer for Sale?

    HI!
Does anyone have a good quality juicer they might be willing to sell to me? I have a digestive problem (and I'm only 20!) and I am in need of a juicer if I want to stay raw (or, like, even survive at all at this point). My friend recommended the super angel, but when I looked it up I saw it was $1000 *gasp!* and as great as it looks I definitely can't afford it. She also recommended the omega 8006?

If anyone has a juicer they want to sell, or knows where I can get a good quality juicer for a low price, or has any other tips, please let me know!

love and bliss and sunshine glitter to all! <3

lunarfey its been like a million years since ive seen you here , glad to see your still waging the war to stay raw

    - i just bought an omega 8006 few months ago and can say its a well made machine but it FOR SURE doesnt juice soft stuff like tomtatoes / pineapple well . it turns them into a sauce rather than a juice . a sauce like a spaghetti sauce or salsa thickness which itd be great to make with . but it doesnt turn soft stuff into a juice at all . but greens and hard stuff many love it for

    - the machine that does most stuff best and is cheaper than angel is the highly regarded green star , but thats $500

time out - something just came up and i have to run but i'll check back with more thoughts tomorrow . take care

    Hey Michigan Roman!
lol if being raw is a war then maybe we shouldn't be! ;) But glad you remember me! Can't believe I joined this website like 6 years ago now! How are you?

Thanks for the advice regarding the juicer! So if I wanted to do mostly green juice with like some lemon/lime and ginger, and maybe two oranges or apples per juice would the omega 8006 work well? Or do you only recommend it for greens?

I know I got soooo excited when I saw that post on craigslist a week and a half ago. I emailed them 3 times and they responded once but didn't leave any details and then I never heard from them again. I am so bummed. I'm still kind of hoping they might answer.

    thanks again!

You mentioned the angel juicer and it reminded me a John Kohler video that he just put up. Anyone interested in this juicer might like to view it before plunking down that much money:

Hi Lunar Fey ~ I sure hope you find a juicer! Have you checked your thrift stores? I ask because just yesterday I found a like new Braun citrus juicer for $5 and a few months back, I got a Samson (used maybe twice!) for $6. No, you don't find these deals every day, but when you do - it's great. Best wishes!

the z star manual juicer at this john kohler video is made by same company that makes the very respected green star . kohler loves this juicer but says if you juice alot you need an electric .
but thing is it has the same auger juicing design as the omega 8000 series and thusly juices alot like the omega your considering , but its 200 less so a viable option imo . vid :

another though is here comes garage sale season , a great deal could be near . plus can search ' juicer ' at craiglist and whichever forsale catergory a juicers in , such as garage sale / home goods / appliances , shall come up for easy searching . with cash being a factor i like the idea of searching for a used one at like 50 or under and getting by with it for now , while if even buying one cheap used one still keeping an eye out for another for a cheap back up , or for a great deal coming up on something real good

ive had a few cheap centrifugals like juiceman and krups brand , a commercial champion , an omega 8005 . and ive not loved any of them . the champions unbelievably powerful and great made but spins too fast and thusly froths juice so no better than a centrifugal . and the omega 8000 series is very sturdily made , and does greens and hard stuuff great . but soft stuff becomes sauce . though like your talking about doing majority greens with some other stuff mixed in i think itll make a good juice . but even though i really like the build quality of the omega 80000s , and they do greens good . what i dont like is the juice spout is too low to table top which makes it so you cant get a big vessel underneath it to hold alot of juice . you can only fit their little say 16 oz container under spout and when you fill it up its a big pain moving this container around because it spills very easily . which for me i dislike alot . and when your talking 200 and above for a juicer i want the thing to be designed well and efficiently function or im going to be put off with it . also , if you buy an omega 8000 series you can get the cheapest one at bbb with 20 off coupon for just under 200 . and it has same motor as the 300 one your looking at . and bbb is great about taking things back which is big plus because buying on line can become a mess if having to return something . i got stuck with my champion that way , but my ma made out because i gave it to her because i hated it so bad and couldnt return it , lol . but anyway buying from a store local that easily takes things back is HUGE factor imo

Thank you SO much Michigan ROman for all your insight, advice, etc. on juicers. I ended up getting an Omega 8005 for my birthday as a collective birthday present from like allll my relatives haha. I like it and I think it works great! =)
