Default Anyone else eat avacado's like they are candy?

I love them in salads, and puddings! Oh my gosh! they are just like an celestial food! NOM NOM!

Nothing compares to their creaminess! It's probably bad to eat too much fat, but for now I am bulking up!

If you put them in a bag and seal it up, they'll ripen even faster. I think you can also toss in a banana and that speeds the bag ripening method too.

Yes it does. I often keep my bananas and avos together. I like bananas less and less though. I find them useful if I am hungry and just to darned bored or tired to make a meal but I don't enjoy them the way I enjoy juice or a huge hunk (if not a whole) watermelon.

Oh we love avocados at our house. I buy 20-30 of them a week. Yummy!!!

I put the ones I'm not ready for in the refrigerator and then ripen up the ones we want to use in a brown bag like Deb said. Once they are ripe, we put them in the refrigerator so they slow down their ripening until we use them.

I wish watermelon was in season! I love it to bits! Oranges are my fruit of the month! Oh and cherry lime green smoothies! I too find bananas less and less appealing unless they are properly ripened!

So ,faster ripening=less coldness :) Wow! 20 avos at a time! Amazing! Well, if you are feedingg a family that makes scense! I would probably go through 10 on my own if I wasn't on a budget!

Us, too. I generally have them separated with unripe ones on the counter, ripe ones in the fridge in the drawer and the "eat them now!" ones on the top shelf in the fridge.

We love them any way we can slice them.

I looooooooove avocados! SO much... my boyfriend teases me because I am really protective of them and apparently I don't like the share them with him... hehe... actually, today while I was preparing to make some guacamole, I misplaced my last avocado and actually thought he hid it from me, I was even about to call him at work and ask where he put my last avocado... then I turned around and it was on the kitchen bench...... at that moment I realised I am super obsessed with them!!

Oh mein Gott! I love you! You are hilarious! They are too good! They have been my staple being a baby raw raw novice! They just make everything wonderful, rich, and creamy! And anything can be made out of them!
