Default Really easy and delicious green smoothie ideas?

Kale is a bit to powerful for my lil taste buds right now, and I am getting bored of apples. I also only have a cheapo blender.

    Any ideas?

Oh! And any easy yum yum salad dressings?

Kale is MUCH better if you blend with banana. The sweet/flavor seems to tame down the kale - and start with SOME kale, not a lot. In a less powerful blender, try doing the kale by itself with water first - then add the rest. (Frozen banana is great for making smoothies COLD.)

As for easy - anything you like can be made into a smoothie. There are a ton of recipies online but I just tend to 'dump'. BUT for me the key is banana, especially when starting out. YMMV.

I like to add orange, half a frozen banana, a ton of spinach, a kirby cuke, and a stalk of celery

There's also a thread that's been stickied in maybe either the juicing or fasting forum section with lots of recipes.

I like to use spinach or romain or a couple other milder greens that I can't think of ATM then add banana for sweetness and maybe some berries for extra flavor.

When I was using a cheapo blender I learned that if I froze my greens overnight that they broke up real easy in the blender. But I also learned that if left in the freezer too long that the greens began to taste gross, so I preferred to leave em in the freezer only long enough that they froze and could crumble.

LOL. I just noticed that the smoothie recipes are at the top of this forum.

Can you all imagine the abundant world we would live in if we all planted the seeds of every plant we ate. You wouldn't be able to throw a stone without hitting a fruit tree or berry bush or some fruit/vegetable bearing plant. Imagine the bees that would thrive in such an environment. I see a world.....................
