I had no idea where to post this question. I'm trying to decide between the L'Equip 528 and the Excalibur dehydrator, and don't know which one to get. I've read about the Excalibur having toxic (BPA interior) trays and the temperature changing (so it may not truly be raw?). I've also read that, because the trays stack, you can't make pizza and cakes and other taller things in the L'Equip. Everything I've read seems to make me lean towards the L'Equip, but the part about not being able to make taller things... I'm hesitant to get the Excalibur becuase of what I've read - also about the heating fuse sometimes being faulty and the customer service being bad.) Can anyone help me out here? Can you make taller things in the L'Equip? Which is better?
