Default Starting a Juice Fast - Please Advice (Eczema)

I ordered a juicer (Omega J8006) on Feb 4. Happy Valentine to myself. It's arriving next week and I'm really excited. I have been on raw for a few weeks as a measure to do something about my life long battle with eczema. Honestly, I have seen little to no "cure" that I was looking for. That's not to say I have not seen improvement in skin. What I noticed was redness was gone, bedtime itchiness was tolerable, and old/recent scars diminishing. However I need to do something more. Perhaps juicing for 30+ days will help accelerate the "cure?" So I will try juicing for 30+ days.

My main concern is cost of juicing grocery. I have noticed my grocery bill probably doubled since going raw especially organic.

How much greens/fruits to juice for a whole day? I read drinking no less than 2 litre per day is recommended.. And I also read drinking less = more detox, less energy. I'm fine with that so I think I will drink between 2-3 litre per day. Could someone post back with some juice recipe along with close estimate of greens/fruits required to make 2 litre of juice? And if possible with some variations of alternative greens/fruits to change it up.

And is it okay to use non-organic veggies and fruits?

Thanks guys, I really love this forum. I've been following/searching this forum for a month now (addiction?) and you guys have helped me greatly.

Happy Valentines Day to you. I read that the toxins stick to the fiber so if your juicing on a budget you can probably get away with some non organic. On the fasting thread people have posted there favorite juices while fasting. There is a great pineapple juice recipe. Check out the fasting thread you will find the favorites quickly. Buy whats in season if you can. Ginger added to juice makes it soo good.

Thanks you Tracey. My juicer will be here today yay! I found a good way to juice cheap.. I'm going to grow wheatgrass, sunflower sprouts, and speckled pea sprouts. Have a shot of wheatgrass in the morning, and for the rest of the day 1/6 sunflower sprouts, 1/6 pea sprouts, and rest with cucumber and celery. Yay I am so excited and little worried I might fall over and die from hunger. I will try those juice recipe on other threads, I was looking at them all week. And thanks for reminding me I need ginger!
