Morning everyone (or I guess it's almost 1pm right now, so afternoon, hehe). Day 4 here. I definitely had some detox last night. Water fasting this morning, will see how it goes. I'm really not hungry at all.

Hi everyone my name is Sue and i am just going to be starting a juice fast tomorrow. I cant believe i found this site.WOW...Coincidence?? Hmm??. It will be great to give and get support from everyone. (though this time around i may be getting more than giving as i am new to the "juicing' world).I have done a few water fasts in my day 7days being the longest.I am excited and maybe a little nervous to get started.I am coming off of six months of poor eating and really want to rid my body of all these toxins.I have ate very light today and i am looking forward to starting tomorrow. If anyone has any helpful hints .....i am listening.:)

Today is day 7 for me on my green smoothie feast. Everything is going great.

I am not hungry tonight so I decided to make a fruit smoothie and lay off the greens for dinner. I had a lot of them for breakfast/lunch smoothie anyways.

Yummy!! This is a little treat for me for doing 1 whole week.

Now on to my 2nd week!

I'm back.. Yeah me.. Starting Day 1 juice fast again. Last fast was my longest of 14 days and felt awesome. Had big plans for myself of transitioning into raw 100% after my fast. I felt so clean and good. I even had my lymph nodes swell which I thought of as good things since I knew all was moving it's way out... Well, life brought about stress from the death of my husbands nephew and I just fell literally off the wagon. Partly do to stress of it, and then because of hospital and funeral, I just ate what was available. Not an excuse but it goes to show me how I am still that same stress eater. But I'm not going to continue this crap anymore. I'm begininning my beautiful fast again. Today I had some spinach, apple, and orange juice. Yummy... Talk to you all later. Nice to meet some newbies and my helpers Cathy, and Roman..

Good Morning to everyone. Today is day one of my fast. I had Kale Spinach Cucumber green apple blueberries and pineapple.Ummm it was ok..lol it was good just going to take a bit for my tastebuds to adjust.:) All good though. I am so looking forward to feeling and looking vibrant full of energy clean clear.....all the good things this time of fasting brings us. I am a bit confused on the difference between a "smoothie" and "juicing".. or are they one in the same? If anyone has some insite on this that would be great. Have a great day to all.:)

Climbing- Thank you so much. You really do learn a lot in situation like that. Friends, family, and your own raw emotions, It was hard but from each thing I try to learn.... Some lessons I hate...

    Red face Juicing!

Day 2 for me. I was already detoxing at bed time last night. I wonder if it set off quickly since last week I had fasted for 3 days?
And I have a confession! I sometimes still have my unsweeted soy cappuccino while I'm otherwise cleansing! So, what to do about this? Anyone else experience fasts with and without coffee? Im sure it's not as effective, but can anyone point me to any articles?
On another note, meditation and qigong have been a lot of fun! :)
    Cheers, all!

WEll, day 1 is almost in the books for me. No headache yet. I'm shocked. With any fast I have ever done I have had monster headaches and then Day 2 smooth sailing on the headache end. Hope I don't jinx myself. It is only 6:30 pm but I will take it. Going to have a nice hot bath now. My stomach has been off today. Real nausous.. But doable. Also very very tired. This is all fine with me. I know how it goes. Sipped on GoodCat's green lemondade, and some pineapple orange blackberry juice. Greens other then romaine just didn't sit well today with me. Couldn't even bring myself to juice them. I'm telling you the stomach is off. Onto day 2 and getting this junk out...

Day 2 for me. I did not escape the headache last night. Right after I wrote the post above about an hour later it came. Looking back it really was pretty awesome. On other fasts my headaches came immediately, then one fast it came at 4 pm then another at 6 pm. , and this time it was well into the eveing before the headache came like 8 pm. So making progress. My stomach feels better today. I did an enema to get rid of some of the gunk dumped into my bowels from yesterday. Now I feel even better. Going to go sip on some green juice or pineapple juice. Haven't decided yet. Have a great day.

Newoutlook92- your doing great.. Day 2 for me. I had a horrible stomach ache yesterday. It's all part of the process. Some days are good some not so good. The longer you fast the better you will feel. I always tell myself that.. Don't know how long this fast will be for me. My longest was 14 days and before that 10. I'm thinking this may be a shorter fast for me but we will see where it goes. Your doing great..

Hey guys, just wanted to say that I broke my fast yesterday but I plan to continue drinking a large amount of juice every day to help the detox process continue at a lesser level and keep my body alkaline until my next fast. I'll be back in a month or two, happy fasting!
