Hey everyone! I stumbled upon this site looking for sources to buy irish moss and after scrolling through the forums thought it would be a great support group to keep up my healthy eating and learn something new!

In the past few years I have completely revamped my lifestyle after suffering from IBS and related health issues. After no useful help from my family doctor and multiple hospital visits I finally became proactive and discovered my intolerance to dairy, corn, and gluten, and began the journey towards healthy eating. I used to love baking confections and desserts, creating ornate fondant-topped cakes for birthdays, but have found fermenting, sprouting, and soon-to-be vegetable gardening to be a welcomed replacement. Now I only eat homemade, mostly raw and vegan, and am inspired by the possibilities of creating delicious, healthy meals while nourishing my body. I'm fortunate to live in a city (Vancouver, BC) that appreciates alternatives to the SAD that makes this lifestyle change much easier!

My main challenges will be to keep it simple (I have a flair for the artistic and tend to get carried away!), to get to the gym more regularly, and to satisfy my partner's huge appetite (he's 6'4" with a crazy fast metabolism and still likes his meat, cheese, and breads...).
