    Default new here.

    hello,i am 34 years old,from france living in canada for 8 years now,i have 3 kids 4,2 and a new born(girls).English is my 2nd language,expect some mistakes...
    i weight 230lbs,when i came first in canada,i weighted 170lbs, 1st year 185lbs and now i'm being 230lbs for 2years.My opinion,is that here in north america,there is so
much preservatives in the food that is why i have gained so much weight, but it is a different subject.
I bought a juicer last january (breville 510XL),i've used it a the beginning and stopped. Now i am motivated again,i want to lose weight and feel better,my wife is breast feeding,(this is how i found this forum) and she is also interested.
I need some help on the structure of raw food and juicing,i don't understand if this is only what we eat or just adding some in our daily diet.i don't know what and when to make it.
i hope this isn't too much.
    thank you and good day.
    gted.

morning : fruit - nuts - nut / seed mylk smoothies with fruit - home made trail mixes

lunch / dinner : huge salads with mixed greens / home made dressing of oil - vinegar - herbs / chopped walnuts or sesame seeds / avacado / brocoli / mushroom / tomato / onion / g pepper / etc

my usual staples : bananas - avacado - romaine - dandelion grrens - kale - tomato - onion - walnut - almond - sesame seed - brocoli - mushroom - oranges - cold pressed extra virgin olive oil - apple cider vinegar - garlic clove - fresh parsley - green pepper - dry dates - dry figs - hemp seed - pumpkin seed - sun flower seed - make protein rich mylks out of the seeds in blender that then make fruit smoothies with or drink plain . i feel as though the home made nut / seed mylks are a key , along with dark greens in salads , to raw veganism . thats my opinion as 18th year vegan 6th year high raw , its not anybody elses and i might be stupid so be leary ;-)

juicing : can get good apples still this time of yeat and theyll work good in your centrifugal juicer . same with carrots

ide also start sprouting buckwheat seeds as you can eat them after soaking 6 hours , you strain them several times then pour over home made almond mylk and add fruit / nuts / seeds / dried fruit / etc for a raw cereal

    i'll bring back some links

sprouting EXPERTS at the great site www.sproutpeople.org

so if alergic to nuts ide still look seriously at making seed mylks , pumpkin very high in protein , sesame high in calcium , sun seed high in e , hemp seed has both omegas high in protein . to me besides critter flesh we evolved mostly on greens / roots / seeds as thats whats previlant most the year , so i always looking to add as much seed and green as possible , and they say soaking / sprouting seeds over like a 48 hour span makes seeds much more nutricious . theres a guy here mr raw , search his posts , thats a sprouting expert one could get alot of good info from

Welcome, I also have a Breville, Love it. If your wife is breastfeeding. Green juices, salads sprouts. IF you want to produce milk like a cow you have to eat like a cow. (I read that somewhere). This should really help her milk supply. I drank alot of green juice when I was pregnant and breastfeeding. Now my son is 2 1/2 and he loves it too. GO RAW is a nut free facility they make lots of yummy treats from sprouted seeds and grains. You can get recipe ideas from them. THere stuff is good.

Make sure you have plenty of fresh fruit on hand its the ulimate fast food. Cut up veggies and have ready. Juicing in definitely my favorite. Green juices give me lots of energy.

Good luck to you and your family.
    Tracey
