Ahoy! I began eating 100% raw about a month ago. I went from 178 to 157lbs and I'm around 6"2 and a half. I didnt begin this diet to lose weight; I did it so I can cure my type 2 diabetes and get my energy levels and get back to nature. The thing is, although I look thin, I still have good color and bundles of energy for the most part. Actually, my body isn't showing "too much" bone or anything, I just know I should weigh more. My problem is that sometimes I get little cold, and pumpkin seeds are falling through the cracks of my fingers.. WAHH!!! Any ideas on great foods I can eat to stay warm and keep my calorie count high? Should I exercise a bit to trick my body to put weight on? or would going for an outside jog in snowy vancouver be my demise :P? I've started eating home made flax chips and 2 or 3 avocados a day, but i'm still looking thin in the face.. not horrible, but the shape of my skull is a secret to nobody anymore. maybe i'm underestimating how much I really need to eat when on a raw diet? any good meal plans? are there times a day when i should be eating certain things for maximum efficiency? So many questions, I know, but if I don't ask em, nobody will :). I feel like food isnt being fully digested as it should because i'm an eating machine, and i always have been. Also, whats a good staple food?
