Oh dear. The salt water flush calls for two teaspoons of sea salt, not two tablespoons. That's way too much salt.

    You did it at night?

I have always read you are supposed to do it upon rising and before eating or drinking anything else.

I don't think it has to be 2 tsps. I have known people that have used different amounts.

It needs to "flush" the system (or your system) and it can't do that with a bunch of stuff/food in the way. Hope this helps!

So you have an elimination right away? Does it last all day? Sorry for so many questions but I really want to help my detox along. This is one way I thought would help since I need to order an enema bag from Amazon. lol

I did it once with 1 T of salt in water and the results were...... immediate. LOL, yep first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I needed to be close to a bathroom for maybe a few hours.

I typically noticed that I would eliminate about 50-70 minutes later. And if I chugged the drink down it would be all over within an one and a half hours or so from when I drank it. If I didn't chug it then I would still need to be near a toilet for a couple hours.

You may live in the boonies, but it's common for walgreens to have the enema bag kit. I've seen them in quite a few stores actually. But just so you know, I think they are a cheap kit and I've thrown away two because they began to leak. Another thing you can do is get surgical tubing from a medical supply store or wherever would sell it. Then drill a hole in the side near the bottom of a gallon jug and insert the tubing about an inch into the jug. Then get you one of those large paper clamps to use as a shutoff on the tubing.

Can you all imagine the abundant world we would live in if we all planted the seeds of every plant we ate. You wouldn't be able to throw a stone without hitting a fruit tree or berry bush or some fruit/vegetable bearing plant. Imagine the bees that would thrive in such an environment. I see a world.....................

I do this every day while fasting. It's definitely two teaspoons. I made the same mistake the first time, although with more salt it should still work (you'll just gag and nearly die trying to get it down) to that's not the reason it failed you. It wont work if you have food in your intestines.

Thanks for the info. I tried it on a juice fast with no success. Im guessing on the master cleanse or water fast would be the best choice for this type of cleansing.

How would baking soda work for cleansing instead of salt?
