    Exclamation Always Bloated HELP!!

    Hello everyone!
I have been about 80-90% raw since July. In the last few months I have noticed I am constantly bloated. All I eat is veggies and fruit nuts and seeds, I don't understand how my stomach is in this state. I have always been a thin person, I hate to sound shallow but this is really bothering me. I love raw but Im wondering if this is causing my constant bloat. I have tried researching online but most articles are related to bloating after just starting raw, but I have been doing this for months! Im not sure if I was bloated all summer and im just noticing it now or it's getting worse. I don't think I have been bloated for that long because I definitely would have noticed it. Someone please help!!

Can you be more specific about what you're eating? Is it mostly nuts & seeds, or mostly veggies, etc? Do you add a lot of salt? Also, you mentioned that you're 80-90% raw, so whatever cooked food you're eating might also be the culprit. Have you been to your doc lately and had blood workups? Those can be very telling too.

I have a green smoothie for breakfast, Usually just fruit and greens. Lunch is usually a salad of some sort with spinach. Dinner varies could be just fruit, a salad, a raw dish or a smoothie. Usually the only cooked foods I eat are things like gluten free tamari, nutritional yeast and salsa or something like that. I don't eat a ton of salt but it is in my diet. I usually eat nuts/seeds only every other day. I have actually never had blood work done. Needles really give me the heebie jeebies.. My mom thinks It's because I eat so many bananas and I think It might be that I eat too many raw greens. Thoughts?

Too many variables to consider. You could try a mono diet for a little while to see if the bloating goes away. Basically only eat one variety of food at a time and allow it time to move out of your stomach before eating a different type of food. The idea here is that improper food combining could be causing the bloating, and if you are combining two items together that don't do well in your GI tract at the same time it will cause fermentation and cause bloating. Google food combing for good information on this. I also think there's a list on these forums somewhere maybe? Perhaps do a search for it. I know there's a list in Alissa's "Living on Live Foods" book.

Another idea to try if that doesn't work is the cayenne parasite test. Check google for some good information on it. Intestinal parasites can cause bloating.

One other idea could be simply that all the trillions of cells that your body is made up of are beginning to belch out all their carbonic waste which is causing bloat. Google "Matt Monarch Blood Gas Theory" for information on this.

from my own experimentation and my knowledge, i see bloating as candida in action. Try eliminating all fruit and even sweet veggies like carrots just for a few days and see if on the 3rdish day it goes away. Also make sure to soak seeds/nuts

I'v wanted to a juice fast but unfortunately I do not have a juicer. I'v seen improvements limiting my daily intake of bananas and greens.I would like even better results though..maybe an enema?

I can't say enough good stuff about colon-hydrotherapy. I would suggest giving an enema a try.

Because you mentioned enema's, and because EscapeArtist brought up a good point about candida...... You could also try an ACV enema to see if there is candida in your colon. You want to use a good quality apple cider vinegar IMO. I stick with Braggs ACV. Use 2TBS per quart of water. Try to retain the enema for a little bit and work it around your colon as much as possible before releasing it. Lay on your left side and massage your descending colon, then lay on your back and massage your transverse colon, then lay on your right side and massage your ascending colon. Then work your way back. If you do a cleansing enema first it will probably make it easier to retain the ACV enema.

you can juice fast without juicer on frozen pure orange juice - smashing tomatoes with hand potato masher in pot with water then straining thru mesh paint filter bag - herbal teas with lemon - blend green in water then strain thru paint filter bag - sucking on orange wedges then throwing out wedge without eating it
