lunch ideas for school
Hello everyone!
I want to start my kids on a raw diet. They're about 60% raw right now, and I want to increase it.
What do you give your kids to take to school with them?
Today I made an avocado soup for lunch, but I worry it may go bad if I make it the night before for her...
Can you give me some ideas? :)

Alissa book has some great recipes if you have a deyhdrator. "Pop tarts" Cookies. Breads
Nori rolls would be good. Get creative. Make a dip of almond butter/honey cut up veggies. Salads, fruits. Kale chips.
Im not sure how old are your kids that might make a difference in what they would like.
My kids and I do a taste testing before I ever put it in there lunches. I make 2-4 of different things they get a taste and decide what they would eat in there lunch box.

Unfortunately I don't have a dehydrator yet. That would make things much easier.
My daughter is 5. At home she drinks smoothies and juice but I can't send those to school with her, the juice would oxidize (I don't have a masticating juicer either).
Today I gave her sliced apples with nut butter, a green salad with lentil sprouts, a banana and some hummus, but I'm running out of ideas lol!

What about Noris roll almond butter, bananna(squeeze OJ or lemon on it) Honey. YUMMY.
I use lemons in my juice to keep it from turning. Un toasted Nori rolls My kids love taking seaweed to school.
I love Chia pudding. That is good for breakfast. Blend Chia seeds, almondmilk. vanilla, agave nector. So yummy.
My sons favorite Bfast. Spinach, blueberries, juice of 1 orange, bananna oatmeal coconut kefir, agave, blended it makes a thick breakfast pudding.
Cucumber boats. Scrape out the seeds like a boat put nut butter mixture in it. Make a trail mix with nuts N seeds.

Do you have a dehydrator and a food processor????
I am assuming this is a nut free place
I will make more suggestion, but here is some idea
Get some young coconut and make noddle with it. You can make a marina sauce with this. I usually separate both noddle and sauce and let my daughter separate them.
You can make pancake. The fruit leather from Allissa recipe, and the filling use coconut also, blend with a little bit of coconut water, honey and vanilla.
You can make pizza crackers.
Vegetable and a delicious dip. (soak sesame seed, then rinse them, add cumin, coriander, salt a little bit of sweetner and lemon juice. If your children are up to it, you can add green onion or a little bit of garlic.
Chocolate pudding (same as the banana pancake filling but add raw cacao)
You can make all kind of burgers or patte with sunflower seed or pumpkin seeds.
You can send fresh orange juice, fresh coconut water.
You can make cookies
You can make wrap
Etc... etc....
Blessings and love

Thanks for the suggestions Tracey! For some strange reason she doesn't like chia pudding, and it's so yummy!! I'll keep trying though cause chia seeds are so nutritious.
That pudding you mentioned, can I make it the night before?

Those are great ideas, but I don't have a dehydrator.
