Wink Rawmazing Chocolate Cashew bars!!! mmm!

These are so so so good!!! I made them up in the kitchen! I was having a chocolate attack and I have completed 2 weeks RAW!! Whoo hoo!

    You will need

    Base:

    8 pitted dates soaked
    1 cup pine nuts
1 tbs vanilla extract or vanilla bean
    1 tsp Cinnamon

mix in food processor until smooth or sticking together well

1 cup raw cashews chopped into the date "batter"...mix well.

    Chocolate covering:

    1/2 cup Cacao powder
    1/2 cup Carob powder
1 cup pure maple syrup or raw honey would do
    1/2 cup coconut oil
sea salt to taste (i like salty and sweet!)

Blend in blender until whipped and smooth!

I just pressed the date batter into a pan and poured the yummy Chocolate over it to make bars...I first tried balls but was way too messy!

Put in freezer or fridge until chocolate "hardens"!! These puppies will melt in your mouth!!

Ok so it wont let me upload the pic it to here! Here's a direct link to the pic!!

Just throw the (open bracket)IMG(close bracket)link(open bracket)/IMG(close bracket) tags on!

This thing would not last a second in my apartment. I really want to make these. Do you do any prep with your cashews? I would soak mine first and I'm wondering if I should dehydrate them before making this recipe.

Yes, these do look amazing! I am making RP's brownies later today with Alissa's chocolate frosting from her latest book. I will post pics once I am done. Thanks for sharing your recipe and pics!
