Default I want to feel pretty

    Hi, I'm Katina (obviously)
I'm 18 years old and from South Carolina
I became vegetarian at 12 and vegan at 15.
    Why am I here?
I want to feel really great about my body. Yep, I'm fat
    I'm like 5'8/5'9 and I bet I'm 245-250 (My body weight fluctuates).
Now want I to become raw vegan because I know it has helped so many people to lose weight and keep off weight. That's why I'm becoming a raw vegan and probably on and off with cooked foods.

I think raw makes more aware of what you put in your body. It sounds like you found the vegan junk like many of us did. Vegetarian's/Vegans sometimes eat more grains and pastas and tend to forget about our friends fruit and vegetables. Theres a vegan dr. in my office his motto is if your grandmother doesn't recognize it as food you shouldn't eat it. Hes right. Just start adding as much fresh foods into your body as possible. Think about your choices is this going to benefit my body or make me toxic. Only put beneficial foods into your body. Good luck you can do it your already 1/2 way to raw.

You will love raw food. For me, after a while I started to not like the smell of grease foods. I love fresh fruit so much.

    Enjoy!
I enjoy exercising everyday. This includes running, biking, swimming, volleyball, or just walking. I think everyone should live happy and a healthy life. I wish organic food was cheaper than fast food. To learn more about me please feel free to contact me at info (at) home remedies for poison ivy .com

Have you heard Angela Stokes testimony? She's been such an encouragement to so many, myself included. http://www.rawreform.com/content/view/16/30/
I'm sure you are beautiful now, but you'll begin to "feel" it the more you live the raw food lifestyle - it will change you from the inside out. Blessings on the journey!

I am 5'4 and weigh 240. Since going high raw, I have noticed things that my body is telling me, like the difference between true hunger and cravings. My energy has gone up and I feel generally better and I have only been high raw for less than a week! My weight is secondary to my health, but taking off 100+ pounds can only increase my health. As far as feeling pretty, I am way overweight, but still have men hitting on me, have a boyfriend and feel pretty. That comes from the inside and being comfortable in my own skin. Raw will make you healthy, but loving and accepting yourself will do wonders. Be gentle with yourself.
