I just joined the forum today. I've been about 95% raw for a couple of months now, with the only cooked food being three eggs a day. I'd like to do 100% raw and take off another 20 pounds during January. I've lost 30 pounds since November 1st, a total of 60 pounds since May 1, and 40 pounds during the year before that. I have another 120 pounds to lose.

Here's what I have for our fast.

    20 pounds of apples
    Mint
    Cantaloupes
    Watermelon
    Young coconuts

I'll pick up parsley kale and stuff for my Tom juice the day we begin our fast. Sooooo excited to do this. Parz decided to do a detox program as well so he may not enjoy the beginning of this fast but his body is gonna love him!!!

    Default Day 1

    Hi All!

Today is my day 1 for all 100% raw vegan. I am scared but it is what I am suppose to do. It just feels right. Any suggestions on how to make through the first day or days would be great. Thank you so much for doing this with me.

    I'm in!

Just started January 1. Interesting that I have been thnking about doing this for a while and now just found this challenge.

I have eaten raw before and have a very close friend who eats 100% raw, and I have always found it to be refreshing. From what I've read of others who have tried 100% raw it can be a miraculous experience. For me, this is about detoxing and rejuvenating myself and also about living simply.

I hope to track my progress at the end of each week and I am looking forward to hearing about other people's experiences.

Good luck everyone and good health!

WOW its 2012 already. Happy New Year to EVERYONE! Im hoping for a wonderfully HEALTHY start to my new year.
Back in March of 2011 I went raw,,,,lasted 2 months and then started doing some cooked food here and there. Fell off partly due to cost and partly due to laziness on my part, no excuses I am the only one to blame. I dont think I have ever felt as good as I did for them 2 months. Weight melted off me, my skin looked incredible, I had blood stats of a healthy teen athlete, im in my 40's and my overall feeling was contentment. I just plain felt, fabulous. THEN, I went down hill after stopping my raw lifestyle. SO, here I am ready to join some people who want what i want, raw, health, vibrance and overall wellbeing. Count me in on the 30 day challenge!

I will be back on later in the day to give ya all my info and help keep my accountable and on the right track.

    Count me in!

I've been raw for a few months now but this will be my first 30-day challenge -- necessary after stumbling a bit through the holidays, hahahahaa!

Most likely I'll be doing A LOT of juicing this month, and lots of smoothies as well..... don't want to do a full-out juice fast though because I just got a dehydrator

    Rawk on!!!!!!

I'm in. Love the raw life and the energy it provides! Starting my day with juice and tonight I'll be having some raw crackers and a salad! I found these great organic greens with baby herbs that's soooo yummy! I even use it in my smoothies!

Natural-girl I too gained weight when I first went raw. I gained 2 to 5 lbs, but I been raw about 3 weeks now lost that plus 4 lbs!!! I think it's your body with toxins or that your completely hydrated! Trust me it will come off!!! (hugs)
