28 Day SimplyRaw Detox
Hey everyone!
I am new here. I have been eating mainly a raw diet for about 2.5 years now, with many ups and downs. Alissa Cohen and many other raw food teachers have helped greatly with my transitional period.
I have been looking to eat lighter, and less dense raw gourmet foods, as they have been leaving me with a sluggish feeling, causing weight gain.
I recently completed a 28 day detox. The program I followed was written by Natasha Kyssa.
As a result of this program I was able to stop eating emotionally, and really tap into my body's nutritional needs. I released excess weight and many many emotional layers from following this program.
Has anyone read this detox manual or tired the program before? What detox programs have you tried that worked for you? I would love to hear your experiences.
I really want to continue eating an all raw, or mostly raw diet. I do plan to do this detox again...does anyone want to join me? It's a nice way to reset the body...a new fresh start!
Peace & Love

I haven't done a detox but when I eat the heavily prepared foods and dehydrated foods I feel yucky. My motto now is keep it simple. This helps me. Fruit breakfast, salad for lunch and dinner. Snack of seeds.
I'm planning to do a detox mostly of juicing. I have no book to do it. Just mostly green juice.
Good luck on your detox.
Have a Rawsome day.

My husband and I are following a naturopath's detox program. I've been asked not to post about him here any longer though.
I started on this journey October 4 and am still detoxing. I don't know how long it will take to finish the detox, but so far so good. It's a wonderful journey! I only wish I had all the beautiful summer fresh fruits available right now vs. the winter fruits as I eat only fruit & fruit juice during the day.

I can say that while detoxing, you need to avoid fat in all form, any sweetener, spices except for cayenne, salt or seasoning or anything to give flavour such nama shoyu, etc....
You can do a detox on semi acid fruits, you can do a detox with doing as much greens or energy soup as per simply raw, you can do a detox with juicing too. You need to learn to do enema or go for colon therapy, skin brushing. If you do a juicing, you will have a deeper result with fresh herbs and avoiding starchy vegetables. Leafy greens, fruits and herbs. Ginger/garlic can be added in your vegetables juice.
With simply raw, there was rejuvelac (can be made with fermented cabbage, quinoa, or kamut, i believe you can use another grain) and Ann Wingmore energy soup.
My deepest detox was doing a water fast.
