Default In a desperate state of health: Please help.

I am in a very vulnerable and desperate state. I am having some very serious health issues that can kill me. Things just seem to be spinning out of control right now. Some back ground is I have polycystic ovarian disorder (PCOS). The doctor has put me on birth control pills which has worked in a way.

(the “way” I am talking about is it does stop my period from being constant. I have had bouts of my period being heavy and non stop. 4 years at the most. When that was happening I did go to the hospital who would refer me to a doctor who wanted cash (which I didn’t have) so I was in a cycles of needing help but could not afford it. ) Eventually (4 years later) I did get some extra money to pay for a doctor and his tests. And found out I had PCOS.

Most women who have what I have don’t get a period but mine never stops. After I married my husband we were low on cash and I could not afford to go back to the doctor for about 2 years. Which my body just kept bleeding and mad me sick. At the end of the two years I went to the hospital 3 time because I could not breath or get out of bed, my blood loss was a lot. The final time I went to the hospital the doc said I lost a Lot of blood since the two weeks I had been in the ER.
So I was admitted for a blood transfusion and had a D&C.

Now two years later I, I am still on BCP (the pill) and my period is always so heavy it immobilizes me. I can feel myself get sic, and usually I take extra BCP to make it stop early because I cannot handle the stress of it all.
I don’t want to be on BCP because I am afraid they will kill me. I am 39 and am suffering what seems to be a joke from the universe or God.

I don’t know what to do anymore. I just want to be healthy but this condition makes me not be able to get off of birth control pills. I cannot emotionally go back to having a continual cycle. It may drive me insane or do something I will regret. I need some advice from a long time raw person or a women with my condition, but any help is very much appreciated. If you have any questions please ask.

Hi there- You really have a lot on your plate! Try typing 'polycystic' into this sites search bar. I did and came up with quite a few posts on it. Good luck!

Wheat gluten intolerance/gluten ataxia is known to cause an issue of blood. The inability to control or stop leakage of it or a disruption of the clotting ability. You might research Coagulopathy. It may be that excess zonulin levels, or other mechanisms like the damage wheat gluten does to the blood brain barrier, intestinal wall integrity, and Ii suspect placental barrier and vaginal tissue are contributory to coagulopathy. I know someone who shows all the signs of wheat gluten intolerance/celiac disease/gluten ataxia (but are being misdiagnosed) and also has coagulopathy. Vitamin K has something to do with bloods ability to clot and thus not leak from or through these barriers. Wheat gluten intolerance is known to cause malabsorbtion issues so there may be a connection between low vit K levels and the blood issue. I dont know about pcos but oftentimes people are misdiagnosed with many other diseases or disorders while the root cause of celiac disease goes missed. I suggest since you have concerns of downward spiral and of overall health failing you research these things and ask many questikns regarding them of your doctors. Maybe vitamin K shots will help control the bleeding at the very least. I wish you well.

the herb yarrow is known to stop bleeding both internally and externally , ide go to www.mountainroseherbs.com and buy it in bulk to drink tea of ,
ive used mountain rose herbs for over a decade and love them

ide also juice all the dark greens i could . plus other stuff high in iron like parsley . eat raisins for iron too

ive seen too many people into veganism / raw foodism / holistic healing RAVE about juicing dark greens for everything to not think theyre
always a great move to make . can grow own wheat grass too to add to the green juices

upside is your ailment is forcing youto eat better heading of worse long term damage , diets at heart of 90% of our health problems today .
and theres no way around it but to change and get high raw vegan

good luck and dont panic , theres all kinds of people with way bigger problems . yours could be an easy natural fix ,
just have to tinker around with diet / juicing / raw / herbs / etc

and yarrow amazed me when i had a bloody nose and rubbed some foilage into nostril and it stopped bleeding in like a minute ,
the flowers are the most potent plant part . white ones thee most potent variety

I used to have this problem. I didn't know I had PCOS until I was very sick. My periods were very heavy, lasted days too long and I was always quite sickly feeling during them. Then I got really sick. I ended up being septic. They did exploratory surgery looking for the cause and found the PCOS (not the cause of my illness). While they were in there they removed a bunch of cysts from my ovaries. It didn't help stop the bleeding, but it really lightened it and got rid of the constant sick feeling. What did stop the bleeding however was the depo privera shot I received. You're supposed to get it every 3 months if you are using it for birth control, though since I'm not using it for that purpose, I just wait until my period returns before I go get another shot.

I'm not a long time raw person though. I'm just getting started. We were planning on going raw early in the year but I ended up in the hospital for several months. In the one hospital I got really lucky in that they served a lot of raw food. I had plates of raw fruit and raw veggies every day in addition to a few cooked items. I felt it really helped with my recovery time.

Maybe you could talk to your doc about the depo shot? It's certainly more convenient than trying to remember to take a pill every day and it can last a lot longer. There have been times I've only had to have one shot in a year.

I did not like the depo shot; it made me really unwell. The worst thing about it is that you can't do anything but wait til the effects wear off. I would never have it again and really none of the chemical birth controls sit happily with my body.

Raw makes a huge difference to my previously heavy and painful periods. I also gave up soya and foods with soya in them. Big difference :o)

I know depo might not be a good choice for everyone, and I'd rather not be taking it myself. It sure beats having a blood transfusion once or twice a year because I end up horribly anemic. I'm hoping raw fixes all these problems. I know I'll be adding lemon juice or oranges to all my salads from now on to make sure I absorb enough iron from all the leafy greens.

Sweet heart, don't give up hope, you truly can reverse your condition. If you aren't doing 100% raw food, start now. Make sure to add greens and fresh fruit in your diet. Whatever fresh food come in your area, prioritize this.

You aren't filtering your lymph in this area. Keep your guts clean in the first place and consider to do a detox once you are on 100% raw food for a while. If i was you, i would ditch the pill, i had that and i suspect this was the cause of it. They say it prevents cyst but good grace, this is none sense.

Also research to release anything emotional regarding your organ of production ( i don't want to use S...ty.). Our thoughts and emotions are very powerful and can manifest into physical. Everything is connected. There great book you can get with positive affirmation such Louise Hay.

Visualize also yourself heal and free from any issue, surround this vision with love and gratitude. Watch the magic, it is that simple.

You will go through this with grace and freedom

    A big hug to you

p.s I am not a medical doctor please research.

I have a sugar addiction too.You can switch it to raw sugar. Maple syrup, honey, and agave. Honey mixed with almond butter is a great filling dip. It satisfies my sweet tooth. Honey and bananna are a good desert combo. Then you have to get raw chocolate. I make cookies with seasame seeds, raw chocolate, and honey. Yummy. GO RAW has some good cookies too. GLaser farms has cakes, pies, and brownies you can order them online. Im luckyI have raw resturaunts so I alyaws pick up stuff from them. Good luck. Enjoy. Raw honey with PROPOLUS in it has cancer fighting abilities. There are clinical trial showing that it shrinks tumors.

dry dates - dry figs - bananas - oranges - and occasional almond mylk smoothie with bananas , carob powder , pure maple syrup feed my sugar tooth

though i love pure maple syrup and could drink it straight to the tune of about a pint a day i fear over using because its so concentrated so keep it controled

though ive no idea what the general health opinion on its use is , and how much is too much . guess i should read up on it

I had the same problem with sugar addiction and what helped me the most is the herb stevia, you can find it in dried leaf, green powder, or white powder. it is up to 300 times sweeter than sugar in white powder form. I use this in smoothies, teas, etc.

For times when stevia can't be used, honey can be used though it's nowhere near as healthy as stevia and is almost entirely sugar and can cause similar problems, so honey should be taken in small amounts. I used to take agave but more and more evidence shows it's far from healthy.

You're on the right path though by not blindly trusting whatever nonsense doctors tell you, that's the first step towards regaining your health. I had a so called "incurable" disease for 5 years and have been cured of it for 6 years now by going on a mostly raw diet and the few cooked things I eat are all relatively healthy for cooked food.
