    Default Sugar

I am researching sugar in order to help myself break the habit.
Question: If our body turns things to glucose does it matter if its fruit, can fruit, cereal, etc? What is the difference? Can out body tell?

You must consider the glycemic index and even more so the glycemic load of what you derive your sugar from. Most of what you speak of are empty calories. When they enter your system you get a sugar high without the necessary fibre to counteract it and slow it down. This leads to a rush of insulin. This has an ageing effect on the body as well as contributing to diabetes.
When a sugar calorie is derived from a whole food the fibre helps to balance the sugar and mitigates this.
    Stay away from empty calories.

It takes about 3-4 days of withdrawl. Whole grains are a steady stream of release. simple sugars are released all at once. I noticed if I have fruit for breakfast it cuts my sugar cravings. At first I used alot of honey and agave, then my sugar went up. I cut them out and I stay pretty well balanced all day. It does take time to get it out of your system. Stick to fruits but don't over do it.
