if feeling good after 24 hours going longer if choose
one goal being to work on appetite control via weekly fast
but it also helps to cut fat , plus get in shape for longer fasting work

I have tried to read that link before and I get a few sentences in and give up. It doesn't resonate with me at all

I'm in!!! I can definitely commit to a day of fasting tomorrow! My life is a bit too crazy to go beyond that. I have some Green Kombucha and I'd like to try some of Alissa's suggestions in the juicing section in RFFE starting on page 183 that I've never done before. I have everything for the Everyday Green Juice, so I'll start with that.

not confusing at all , obviously this day and age the term fasting is used differently and about everyone realizes yes water fasting is the ultimate .
but theres all kinds of health enhancing dietary regiments on differing forms of raw liquids and solids a person can go on , and the term fasting best describes these dietary alterations for modern people so we roll with it

Really? "About everyone"???? It USED to be. Now everyone's confused as to what's best/ultimate. Yes, everyone. Uh huh... or about everyone.

I'm ignoring Mr Shelton and just going with the Monday fasting idea. I will probably just have juice and water - maybe. I don't have a good juicer so I may just do water.

Im in with a juice fast. My goal is 3 days but my minimum is 24 hours. Tuesdays are tough since I work a double. I have to work so I will make my juice in the morning. 1 Fruit and 1 veggie. H2O with vinager and plain water. The ACV cuts my appetite.
looked like fall orange crop was starting to hit market when i was at store other day , going to pick up a bag tomorrow in case this weeks fast goes longer because i cut oranges into slices when getting weak on a fast and suck on the orange wedge til its just pulp then throw out the wedge
Sunday, 5:55pm and I have had juices - not uber-strained - since after lunch. I will run my fast until probably about 4pm tomorrow if I come off it tomorrow as that will be 24 hours and I will probably have an arduous bike ride ahead of me from 4:30pm. I give myself the choice tomorrow as to whether I eat some fruit before setting off home.
nibbling on a couple oranges before i start my water fast in a couple hours
Having a nice salad for dinner, then starting my 24-hour water fast at 6 p.m.
Loving the whole idea of a regular Monday fast!
I'm READY!!! I will be doing a juice fast which will begin in 1 and 1/2 hours. Today I had a Grapefruit, 1 Raw Taco, and a Raw Enchalada. So, I'm not expecting to be really hungry on this fast, but I'll make sure I'm taking in enough juices just in case.
I'm only planning on doing through Monday...
