24 came a couple hours ago, so I'm calling this a 36. Staff meeting in the morning (on my day off...) and I think I will eat before hand. Short fast is fun after my recent distance run.

My planned 36 hours is almost up but I feel like continuing. I am going to allow myself to break in 12 hours if I want to or continue - whichever feels right. I have a course today so I am a little surprised by my choice!

I called it this morning at 36. Nice to know at this point 36 is no effort at all.

I agree that at the moment 36 seems a breeze. This week I am so far at just over 48 hours. I may break tomorrow morning or I may carry on. Not deciding until I wake up.

I was toying with the idea of continuing but stopped at 60 hours for various reasons see blog page.

I'm around - started this morning or after dinner last night, depending on how you view it. Drinking fasting tea (tasty!) and hanging home with the cats on a cold & wet NW night.
No set goal on length this time - totally voluntary duration! Still thinking this is a good approach to the week. I think the fast NEXT weekend will be especially welcome.

I just made a bowl of soaked seeds and fruit for the morning, so the end is near. Started Saturday night - ending Tuesday morning. I might even go to bed early so morning comes sooner!
Incredible rain here this evening with flood advisory in many areas nearby. I'm not working till Wednesday, just watching the storm. Now I need to go out and buy some food again. Kinda craving bananas at the moment.

Tuesday morning has arrived and I am breaking with melon. A lot is talked about how to break and it got me to thinking about lions and snakes. If they can break with what they eat then a bit of solid vegetable/fruit etc. should be a doddle for us.

I didn't really enjoy this latest fast and there were lots of times when I could easily have caved. BF has one of my favourite cooked foods every evening and I have to get him to feed surplus to the dogs to stop me being tempted!
