It's Monday! I'll be fasting again, nothing but water today. This will actually be day 5 of my fast which I plan to continue for 10 days +.
Have a few things scheduled this monday but I'm more used to fasting now so it will be ok. i used to never be able to focus the minute I got hungry but now I'm fine, I feel more focused while fasting than any other time!

THanks MR. Starting between 3-6 pm today. Im going to try to drink more juice this time. Expecially the green juices they seem to sustain me better. This is so exciting. I can' t wait to do 30 days when it warms up.

tracey i found some decent spinach at market yesterday so thats on board , to go along with juicing tomatos and oranges . this is too easy , its like having a feast

other nite i was freezing so made a onion / potato / celery broth i strained through colander then nylon mesh paint filter bag for clean broth to warm up because was sick of tea .
well after being on raw juices a few weeks the broth tasted like garbage , with cleaner taste buds i could tell the heated broth had zero nutrients and only way it would taste good is if i loaded it up with unhealthy salt . and i swear next morning i had little headache from that broth . the experience made me crave raw juices big time plus put out of my mind the cravings ive been having this fast for my old cooked vegan favorites . that lesson is one reason why fasting is such a great tool , it wakes you up to fact your addicted to heated un nutricious junk because you grew up with it . but taste buds clean / working properly from a fast alarm you that like other unhealthy things you can get used to and crave like tobbaco / drugs / alchohol cooked is bad for you long term

MR . Im FREEZING and I live in south florida. I love going to the market and making juice creations. I have tomatos for tonight with cucumber red pepper, 1/4 jalapeno and celery. Sounds pretty good hope it tastes good too. Im starting to "emotional detox" today already im freezing feeling just weird like disconnected with where im at? I just want to curl up in a ball and do nothing. My hips are really hurting today. I have never had hip problems before que paso? Both sides in the joints.

I ate about 3 bags of grapes since friday maybe my bodies repairing something I didn't even know what wrong.
I expelled white mucous about 1 hour after my enema last night. Sorry to blab just feeling emotional and weird needed to get it out. I don't have anybody who can relate.

I ended my fast today The emotional Detox was just too much. Talk about detox. My hips were hurting incredibly bad the pain started going down my legs. I could barely walk up the steps. Before I went to bed I took an enema after the enema all of my pain left my legs. Go figure?? How does that happen.???Can't make the connections was I that toxic. Any fasters had that problem?? I will be joining you next week for another fast.Irealize I have alot of work to do on myself.

Hahahahaa -- YES, I just had the worst detox ever! I had several days of very severe pain in my left wrist, which was broken about five years ago and never caused me any pain before, not even on any earlier fasts. I was freezing cold and had crazy-bad migraines all during the fast AND the day I ended my fast I got this severe cold/flu that's kept me in bed for over a week!!!!

Seriously -- I have to laugh about it because it was all so insanely severe given I was only doing a little 10-day fast!

Right now I'm building up my reserves for another fast.... i figure if we're being CALLED to fast, it's just something we've got to do, there's a reason for it as there's a reason for everything.....

Anyhow just remember you're not alone on this journey!

Qwerty thank you so much. I can't figure out why my hips. I realize I have more healing to do physically and emotionally. For the five days I was so strong and I felt on top of the world like a fasting champion. Now I can't finish 2 days. Going to stay raw until fasting calls again. The only thing different is I added lots of cucumber to these juices because I want glowing skin. ?? I also ate a ton of grapes?? Thanks for the support.

I don't know about cucumbers but I have heard that grapes are VERY cleansing and maybe they brought on a more intense level of detox?

The only thing I can think of for hips would be healing from childbirth? Also a time of extreme emotional/hormonal upheaval..... maybe it's something to do with that?

Whatever it is.... you're WISE to listen to your body! Take it slow and break the fasts as you need to.

its like people say were cooked food junkies and going off it and getting the dt's isnt a picnic , lol ;-) i was totally out of fasting shape and couldnt go two days neither tracy til i realized its like anything else in that repition makes one better at it so started monday fasts . i'll NEVER stop the monday fasts , we keep doing the monday fasts itll keep us in better control of our appetites / keep some fat off us / keep us in fasting shape to easily do the important work each year of several extended fasts to allow our bodies to flush out pollutants and that is a VERY wise mode to anchor in .

i was in same place 5 months ago then started monday fasts and now im on day 23 . and when this fast ends if i keep in the monday habit i'll stay in fasting shape and fasting shall always be easy . its like running , if keep doing it stay in shape . and theres a HUGE health pay off , we gotta keep doing it or were fools .........

Maybe from child birth almost 3 years ago wow. Iknow my hormones are out of wack thats what im trying to work on now. I was high raw before I got pregnant and felt soo good. After birth I just plummeted. I remember Deb B doing a grape cleanse. They were on sale and they are so good. I can eat them all day.

For hormones you can take GLA, it really helps..... i take evening primrose oil supplements daily for this and it's also found in chia seeds in very high amounts. Good for your skin, too!
