That was a great fast! Honestly, I was very hungry all day.... but made it through and ended the day with a kale salad and some coconut.

I think this 24-hour fast on sunday/monday might work for me on a regular basis. It really did melt away some fat and also helped me get a grip on my appetite.

I don't remember feeling so hungry on a juice fast though, maybe next week I'll try carrot/apple juice instead of just water? Hmmmm.....

I made it until 6 pm. I ended my fast with cantaloup and pineapple. I had terrible night sweats last night. I am sure it was from detox. I m in again for next week. I will make better juices and more of a variety. Eventually I might try a water fast. I feel lighter and more energized.

About feeling hungry. I kinda expected it when I started this routine. The fast is short so feelings of hunger do not subside, usually that happens after a few days. So you just have to suck it up. On the other hand it does get easier the longer you do it. I am still somewhat hungry but I don't really pay attention to it. I am cold though, I really need to take a hot bath on Monday evenings.
Also I think taking a brisk walk does wonders when feeling hungry!

Thanks -- maybe I'll just suck it up a few more times and see if it gets a bit easier with just the water.

Also, I'll try the exercise and hot bath next time... thanks so much for the suggestions!

im good here this week with 48 hours on water with a few cheater cups o coffee ;-)
sort of prefer fattening up here in late fall with the last of growing seasons good produce then fasting longer distances starting
january when the produce selection gets lesser . with usually biggest fast of year at spring equinox as thats
how the wonderful fasting goddess misslinda led several of us into behaving and its stuck

til next sunday ! hail fasting bandits ;-)

Juice fasting today from 6-6. I started last night. Had some yummy green juice. This morning I had fresh orange juice and now Im sipping on ACV honey water. I am starting to detox. My tongue is very white and I am a little fatigued. I know thats my body healing. I am in for Monday. MR. thanks for the 6-6 I never would have thought of it. Mentally it makes it doable for me somebody new to fasting. Thanks for getting Me going....

I've been fasting all day, since last night around 9pm, actually. I felt very hungry this morning but ignored it. I took a 2 hour nap this afternoon and am up now but don't have a whole lot of energy. I'm water fasting but still drinking 2 cups of green tea per day. last night I had some celtic sea salt in warm distilled water.

Wow I love how fasting makes me feel. I don't think I could have done it if it wasn't 6 to 6. It makes feel in control of my appetite. I did one on Friday also.

Last night. I had carrot, celery, apple. This morning was cranberry orange apple. Yummy. I tried to juice pinapple again but no luck. I made my favorite green juice for the rest of the day.

    Happy Fasting.
