Cool brand new and going for gold!

I'm new to raw food, although I've heard of it before, I've never gone the step to incorporate raw as my diet.

I have a couple of questions that have probably been answered somewhere but seeing as I'm new and don't know where to look yet..

-How do you get your protein? As a vegetarian, I always cooked eggs and ate the egg whites.
-How much should I buy? How often? I can judge with more filling foods like pasta and pizza, but i really don't want to have too much and have my veggies go bad in the fridge-the opposite is also true (not enough, and then raid my rommie's cupboards)

    thanks for your help

    oh, and just in case:
    My name is Carina
    I'm 23
    5'10 and weight: 150lbs
I'd like to lose weight through this diet and get back down to 130 lbs
I also want to look and feel healthier.
I dont want to get sick nearly as often or at all
I want healthier looking hair, skin, and nails
I want to rock my doc's world next time I get a check-up
I want to be happy and full of energy!!!

    Default Staples

Always have foods around. I like almond butter with honey. I dip fruits and veggies in it. Banannas are good to have on hand also. Lara bars are also good to have around they have been on sale lately.

Good Luck. Im starting over again. It does make you feel much more energetic. I always go through 3-4 days of detox then you feel great.
