Thread: Hello!

    Red face Hello!

I'm always rubbish with introductions but my name is Violet and I live in the UK. I had never heard of the raw food lifestyle until a couple of months ago when I came across a recipe in a blog, I was totally inspired so I read some books and did more research into raw veganism and now here I am :-) I've always eaten a mostly vegetarian diet, but I cut out dairy a month ago and I've been eating almost completely raw for the last couple of weeks and feel wonderful. I'm amazed at how different I feel eating raw food instead of cooked!

So yes, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and I can't wait to read more of the forum!

Hi. Welcome. Where do you shop. Lidl have great persimmon and mango at the moment.

Just realised that someone new to the line could be forgiven for thinking that I am a spammer and on the Lidl team.
The truth is that I am sitting here eating 3 very large persimmon and loving it.

Hehe, thanks for the welcome! I do my shopping online with Sainsburys but I've made a note to visit Lidl during the week, I haven't had persimmon in quite a while! Enjoy :-)

    hello violet,

I'm in the UK and the dreaded Tesco have some well priced persimmons at the moment. 3 large ones for a pound if the offer is still on. I was eating them all last week!
