    Default Freeze Dried

Here in Oz you can buy Apple chips which are marketed like potatoe crisps. They are just apples but have been freeze dried so they are really crisp. Does anyone know the process for freeze drying? and would these be considered Raw as it's done at a mega low temp?

wow sounds interesting! I think probably some fo the enzymes dye when something is freeze dried but I have heard it doesn't kill everything and so is thus still raw in a way. I am not sure about this though I think other people on here would know more about it so I will await their insight :)
