    Default Grape juice!

'Tis the season for... grapes! Since they're so plentiful (and cheap!) right now, I find myself buying lots of grapes - green ones, red ones, dark blue ones.... they're all good! And the other night I was craving some grape juice (haven't had any since I was younger, and of course not really 'juice' in the true sense, anyway), so I threw a bag of grapes in my vita-mix, blended it, and strained it to make juice. Made surprisingly little pulp! The juice was amazing, and I actually had to water it down a bit, because it is quite sugary, of course. Not something I'd thus drink everyday, but what a flavour!

Anyone else have ideas for grapes, since they're in season?

We go through about 5# of grapes a day - mostly juicing. Grapes are a wonderful detoxifier (the darker the better, so I'm told)! I'm drinking a glass of it right now. I added a big red grapefruit to balance out the sweet. We buy them in 5# containers for about $6-7 @ Costco.

I don't have any inventive ideas though. We eat & juice 'm. *Ü*

That combo sounds interesting. Grapes are always expensive over here or would try this. Also, I need a better juicer. The one I have isn't too crash hot when it comes to soft fruits.

I heard that green grapes can help to reduce the amount of toxins of your body plus they contain a lot of vitamins. But what's even more interesting for dogs grapes are like poison because it has a huge affect on their livers.
