Hello!

Last November through a friend i started to learn about Raw food diet and right now i guess i am eating %70 raw. i eliminated dairy products and all processed foods from my diet. (I am still learning and searching and this is the reaosn i am here :=) )

i also encouraged my mom to eat raw .. My mom is almost 70 years old and she over weight.. b/c of her health issues (her knee and bone problems she is in pain) she has to loose weight asap..

last June she started to eat raw and she lost some weight .. before raw food diet she was 189.2 pounds ( she is 4,10!) and now she is 178.2 pounds. Although she is still on the same diet her weight lost has stopped and i donno what to do now.. the good news is she is healthier and not putting weight on but in order for her to live better she has to loose more kg..

For your information my mom is following the diet below,

Mornings . 12-16 oz kale (or spinach), apple juice
fruits until lunch

most of the time she goes raw until dinner.. but sometimes she eats lunch ..such as salad (with olive oil and lemon juice..) and brown pasta .. ( or brown rice, bulgur etc)
Dinner salad and soup ( cooked lentil soup etc) and cooked vegetables ..

in between she is eating dried fruits or nuts ..

she is also not using any dairy or process food anymore.

***Do you have any suggestion for me to help my mom?
