Default Blue Nile Cafe in Tempe AZ

I just had one of the Best raw meals ever!! Blue Nile Cafe in Tempe AZ (933 E University Dr). I had a spinach/avocado soup and onion bread sandwich. Excellent. (Would have had the spinach/mushroom quiche, but they had sold out). The soup was excellent, served with a mound of sprouts on top ... the sandwich was heaped with sprouts and sliced avocado & tomato with a spicy mustard sauce ... with a side of sliced cucumbers drizzled with mustard sauce. Wow - very nice. We moved on to dessert -- some pecan/cinnamon buns drizzled with chocolate; and a dark and light chocolate cherry mousse. Simply wonderful.

I've been 100% raw going on 8 years, and have had some great raw food in various places. My next trip to phoenix, I'll definitely stop at this restaurant again. The food was great, the place was very cute and nice, and the service was excellent. Our servers (Sierra and Corey) were very efficient, knowledable and fun to talk with.

The Blue Nile Cafe has non raw vegan food as well. The phone number is 480 377 1113. They have a website, but they don't show the raw menu on line. My partner isn't raw, so he had the ethopian food -- and he said it was awesome. So, there is something for everyone.

If you are in Phoenix -- I highly recommend you give the Blue Nile a try!
    Cheers
    Terry

Thank you so much for this information! I have to go to Phoenix next week to pick up my new car and it's going to be a 3-hr. drive, so I was thinking to myself, "What else can I do while I'm up there?"

I can go to this restaurant! Whee hee!

    How's parking there? Difficult?

    Thanks again!

My son is attending ASU. I was so happy to find Blue Niles so close to his dorm. The service and food are great.

Sorry I didn't get back to you about parking Trenchchic ... haven't been on line much as of late. Anyway, large parking lot, so no worries there.
Hope you are enjoying your new caar! and had a chance to try out the Blue Nile while in phoenix!

I have been meaning to get into the Blue Nile. I heard, though, that raw was served only 1 day a week? Like Mondays?

I just went to their website and looked at the menu. Everything on it was cooked, so now I'm really confused. Help?
