Hi,

I'm starting a juice/blend fast, and I bought myself the Vitamix 4500, and I love the blender so far.

I'm new to this whole juice/blend world, and I was wondering if anyone could share any good blender type juices/smoothies recipes to make from veggies/fruits?

Also, I made one recipe that a friend gave me which consisted of apples, kale, carrots, parsley, and apple cider. At first it came out too thick so I ended up adding ice and some water to liquify it more. However, one question I have is how do I balance the amount of water to the amount of veggies/fruit? I don't want to end up putting to much water in, and then not having the right portion of veggies/fruit.
