That sounds delish bonzer. :) I LOVE LOVE LOVE pineapple in my smoothie and juiced. It's super tasting and oh so satisfying, lol. I'm on day one, I suppose. I decided to juice fast today and tomorrow then start eating raw. My kitchen is ready and the fridge is well stocked. Can't wait to begin! Have a good one, wherever you are. :)

day 4 here now, biiig meals today wowza, I was well over full after each one.

B: Green juice, carob banana chia pudding w/ frozen strawberries
L: Cabbage rolled up with raw "ceasar" dressing w/ soaked mung beans, a cup o' green juice
    D: Big banana carob smoothie

I had so little in the house today and was too busy with school to go to the store, so everything was purely improv! I had to take bananas from my mom to have food for dinner lol, which i'll replace tomorrow

I have decided again to eliminate fruit for tomorrow. Just tomorrow, one day at a time. At least if I 'mess up' I'll just eat fruit and still be raw. I'm just still getting candida symptoms whenever I eat fruit, and after my yesterday green juice day I can compare a no fruit day to a higher sugar day like today.
It's really hard for me to eliminate sugar. As soon as it's gone I hit detox and it's hard to not eat sugar knowing that it will take my detox away. But it's not worth the irritability, insomnia, all-day sugar cravings... and come-and-go yeast-infections.

I completed Sept successfully , took a couple of days off and now I'm back yay!!
Going back to cooked food didn't feel very good at all. I think there's no going back for me...

I don't have internet access and I won't for a while now, but hopefully I can come once in a while.

BTW I love pineapple in my juices and smoothies too!

Yay Lucy, Go you!! That's great to hear, welcome to October :)

If there's one thing I don't like about this diet, it's the comments you get from people! At the grocery store that I go to very frequently (my favorite one!) the cashier girl asked "What do you do with all of this food? Like do you live alone, are you feeding a family?? We see you here so often" (I get looks from all the cashiers, like they wonder the same thing, all teenage girls who are threatening IMO) and me being caught off gaurd fumbled an embarrassed answer. I'm trying to tackle social anxiety with this raw food and so it does nottt help to be put on the spot. I remember once at my old work, when I had to quit for fatigue when I was only like 60% raw, my coworker really threatening blurted, with a big frown on her face "Maybe you're tired all the time because all you eat is vegetables!" and that made me feel horrible for days (Even though I know it's so not true!) I just hate being a 'joke'.

    Sorry guys, a little rant.

Hi EscapeArtist, linparda, Shel, and welcome Lucy and Runraw!! Glad to see new challengers.

The name Runraw immediately made me think of Durian Rider. He's a dedicated athlete who lives mostly on fruit, esp. durians. Even your symbol 'Fruit to wellness' matches his description well, lol.

Today I had bloodwork done in which I had to fast for 12 hrs before. In the past I wouldv'e been irritable and starving afterwards. But today I was calm. I ate a banana and drank a smoothie afterwards. The raving cravings didn't kick in either as in the past. I enjoyed being raw today.
Actually felt "proud" of myself. That hasn't happened in long time. I went to the farm stand to get more apples and a pumpkin. There it was...8 in. long, 5 in. wide...soft to the touch...wrapped in a shiny wrapper....with the fresh-baked aroma from this morning...nutmeg,cinnamon, brown sugar and PUMPKIN. It was none other than my favorite go to fall food...PUMPKIN BREAD...YIKES!!!!!

'Step away from the SAD food' I heard a little voice say. Just for today, don't buy it. Phew.....that was close. I went home and sliced up apples and put cinnamon, honey, nutmeg, sliced almonds and raisens together for an awesome rawsome treat!!! Now I need to seek out recipes for raw pumpkin bread. My quest for tomorrow, I suppose.

    Peace, Bonnie

Oh, that sounds yummie Bonnie! Please post it here, if that's okay...(not sure that it's allowed). Coffaholic that I am, I had a similar experience when I passed a Starbucks yesterday...oooh it was tough for me - 'tis the season for their Pumpkin Spice Latte.... But all is well;D. On to a new day - and I'm going to try the Onion Bread recipe I found here - can't wait to smell the onions;D.

Great, stepping away from that SAD food. I feel very good today. I juiced fasted for two days, so today is my day one raw. I've had a nice salad with a dill dressing, kale chips, a banana and some fresh pineapple juice. I had two avos but they were bad. Can't wait to get home and make a smoothie! I love nut milk, fruit smoothies and carob mint smoothies, yum! :) I'm looking foward to putting in some time to love myself in the kitchen uncooking! I got cheesy, spicey, kale chips on the brain and I'm dying to try and make raw crab cakes. Have a great day all and boy oh boy is it GREAT being raw! :)

Day 6! Day 6 is when it really gets rollin' I hardly ever make it past day 6 but this time it's extremely easy.

Okay so low GI is definitely what I needed! Wow I feel so much better... I feel the raw 'vibes' again, and my dreams are vivid. No cravings. Except for cravings for weight lifting, which is odd

A little bit of emotional detox today. = crying for no reason, but it felt like a really deep release. I think real, cleansing crying comes from the stomach area (diaphragm?)

B: about 1/2 cup of bazil nuts and almonds, maybe more, w/ avocado, cumin, lime, salt, wrapped in romaine
L?: quart of green juice (kale, endive, cilantro, parsley, celery)

    Where is everybody :O??

Day 7? It was one of those days where I never felt full so I just kept eating ALLl day
Let's see if I can recap

B: 1/2 cup of brazil nuts, almonds, 1 young coconut
L: Spinach salad w/ cucumber/spirulina and broccoli sprouts
S: Avocado, 3ish glasses of green juice
D: Kale salad w/ sesame dressing (1/2 cup sesame seeds, 1tbsp flax oil, lemon, salt, cumin)
S: Chia pudding (1 young coconut, 1 banana, 5 tbsp chia seeds)
S: about 3/4 cup of brazil nuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds w/ honey

Crazy amount of food!! I finally feel not hungry. I seem to have these days and then days where I don't want to eat at all.

Had to sit at a restaurant and watch family eat food, and it actually made me crave cooked food which hasn't happened yet... I still am

Runraw......I don't think you're getting more than 1000-1200 calories with what you posted that you ate. That is not enough calories to get you through school/brain work. Perhaps add some salad with olive oil or even a handful of walnuts or almonds could keep the hunger pangs away.

Gotta get to work, so I can't respond to everyone's posts, but I am saying "Hello" to everyone. You are all doing soooo good.

I am having a banana/strawberries/pineapple/kale smoothie right now

Lunch will be apples and a salad w/ honey and mustard dressing

Dinner will be a raw soup and flackers

Coconut macaroons for snack (made by 'Hail Merry")

    Peace, Bonnie

I have decided to join you all! I've been reading thru all your posts and everyone is doing well. Lots of positive vibes, and good motivation to get thru the detox. I have been about 75-80% for a couple months now, and I am technically on day 2 of 100%. So far mild headaches, and this morning I woke up with a sore swollen throat but only on one side...hmmph! Also a lotof mucus is releasing. I am feeling EXTREMELY emotional... in the past I struggled with bouts of depression and lots of anxieties... so maybe this is old emotions detoxing from me like some of you have mentioned feeling.

I am getting accustomed to my new juicer and have made some lovely creations. I also have blender, and am waiting on the dehydrator. Not sure which to pick!

Breakfast- tall glass of cantelope, strawberry, orange, cucumber juice.YUM
Lunch- green smoothie w/ kale banana, wild frozen blueberries, and goji berries. (talk about a powerful energy drink!)
Dinner- not sure yet but I may make zucchini pasta with marinara sauce, or maybe pesto.. we shall see.

I am looking forward to giving 100% a real go! Cheers everyone!

Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.

not because it is far away and can’t be reached but because it is so intimately close,
closer than anything that can be spoken." - Gangaji
