Question wanting to get rid of asthma

Hi. I'm starting raw tomorrow. I really want to get over my asthma. I hope after being raw for awhile I can get off medicine and be able to run and do sports again. Have any of you ever had asthma? Do you know anyone who has gotten over their asthma? Thanks!

First, it was never MY asthma. I didn't own it. Secondly yup! I eliminated it.

Did your asthma just go away when you got started on raw foods?

THE asthma went away when I stopped eating wheat and dairy. Raw certainly upped my level of health though.

Interesting, they told me that my condition is permanent and that it might be less severe when reaching that certain age. They weren't lying I suppose, at least it's way better now compared to my childhood.

I suspect it's as important to eliminate the wheat and milk as it is to go raw, and it's also as important to get as superior a nutrient base within the raw as you can. I watched a video of a woman who had had MS seriously enough that she was in a slant wheelchair - that's pretty bad. She started eating 3 cups of leafy greens (including celery, cucumbers, spinach, etc.), 3 cups of brassicas, (including kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower) and 3 cups of colorful veggies and fruits (including beets, carrots, tomatoes, raspberries, strawberries - anything with intense color) per day. Within nine months, the woman was well enough to ride her bicycle.

I figure it's a good measurement for anyone trying to recover from a chronic illness. I can't eat that many salads. I just can't. So, I've discovered soups. I'm now up to 2 cups of each of the above every day in soups. Today, my tomato soup was made with 2 tomatoes, half an onion, a cup of almond milk, salt, and basil. It has given me two servings and satisfied the 2 cups of tomatoes. I had spinach and kale soup, two cups of each in two cups of water with salt and basil - and that's the leafy greens and brassicas. I'll be working my way up to the three cups per day of each eventually and plan to do all of it in soups.

No matter what the diagnosis, I really believe eating raw foods will help!
