This weekend I went to two Raw restaurants in NYC.

Quintessence- had their "Indian platter" and their Tiramisu... AMAZING! AMAZING! Love the energy in this place!

Pure Food & Wine - Had their "Mediterranean salad" which was okay, "Tortilla wraps" which were SOOO GOOD and their unbelievable Tiramisu. Hands down the BEST raw dessert EVER!

Pure Food & Wine: Forgot to add that I had a couple of bites of their "Lasagna". The most delicious, most freshest dish I have ever tasted. It was absolutely amazing.

Love both Quintessense & Pure Food & Wine. Caravan of Dreams is not 100% raw but they do have many raw dishes that are not to bad.

Caravan of Dreams seems great ... I live just across the river NJ but hadn't heard of it.

Blossom is vegan - Blossom Du Jour (9th Ave between 20th & 21st) has some great pressed juices and a raw burrito that is pretty tasty. A couple raw salads as well.

And don't forget about the Whole Foods in Columbus Circle for quick lunches or to buy snacks for your hotel room. It's awesome.. gigantic salad bar, tons of produce, and they probably even have a section catering to raw foodists (I have not been to NY since going raw 4 months ago, so I have never actually scoured their store to look for a raw foods section). I'm heading to NYC in November, super excited to try all those restaurants. :-)
