As long as you know that the weeds are edible and clean and free from pesticides etc ... then go for it.

Grass juice is not the nicest tasting but it really makes my day complete, + it is a very healthy drink.

Weed juice is nice to drink. Wish l could live on weed and flower juice. Ann Wigmore was supposed to live largely on weeds towards the end of her life.

Yeah, it is so hard to source good weeds. lt's best to get to know folks so you know they aren't sprayed or go out in the wild to get them. lt's amazing when l go on my walks these days, l know many of the weeds around, but unfortunately they would be all sprayed. l'm sure they would be only sprayed with `bio-active moundup', but then again....

l know bio-active roundup is safe because frogs still thrive on lands that have been sprayed with that stuff. lt was the old `roundup' that was the killer. Still, l would like to avoid it.

I'm on day 8 of a juice fast only and going crazy. I need to add more greens but can't stand the taste. Right now I'm doing mostly fruits and attempting to add in some greens. I've been told I'll get used to the taste soon and like it. I hope that's true.

Right now, my fav is, watermelon/pineapple/ginger. I also like plain honeydew melon.

Amazingly enough it is something you can get used to and eventually enjoy. When fasting I try to make one big "green" juice a day w/kale, romaine, zucchini, cucumber, celery then add lots of apples (maybe 5) 1/2-1 lemon and a knob of ginger...the lemon and ginger plus apples really cuts the green taste.......adding carrots too makes it sweeter.

    Lemon/ginger/apple/celery/cucumber/spinach/parsley.

    Celery/cucumber/apple/carrot/beets/lime.

Two big time winners in my book! :)
