    Default Favorite Juices

I'm really just starting to make fresh juices part of my daily routine and I am loving it! Gearing myself up for my first juice fast and hoped you could all share your favorite juice combinations. Can't wait to learn more~

    Today I made some -

    pineapple/cucumber/spinach/lemon...love it!

apple/pear/ginger/lemon...my grand daughters loved this one!

You know, I just mixed up a green smoothie in the blender and I had some left over sweet peppers (yellow), so I threw one in there. It's awesome. It provides just a little hint of kick.

My smoothies and/or juices end up being whatever I have on hand so today it was:

beet greens (I was lucky enough to find these at my farmer's market on Saturday)
    watermelon
    an orange
    one small yellow sweet pepper.

    Grass juice? Weed juice? Seriously?

There are a bunch of weeds behind my building and I was thinking about putting them in my juicer, but I decided it was probably not as good of an idea as it seemed like.

Well, my daily morning juice consists of whatever greens are growing in the garden at the moment - a mixture of kale, kohlrabi greens, beet greens, lettuces combined with an apple or two, carrots, celery, cucumber and broccoli. Sometimes I throw in a bit of ginger to spice it up. I have no problems mixing whatever I have into my juices!

As long as you know that the weeds are edible and clean and free from pesticides etc ... then go for it.

Grass juice is not the nicest tasting but it really makes my day complete, + it is a very healthy drink.

Weed juice is nice to drink. Wish l could live on weed and flower juice. Ann Wigmore was supposed to live largely on weeds towards the end of her life.
