I got a kick out of this, needed to share it!
My 4 year old has her halloween costume, and she doesn't want to wait for halloween to wear it of course, so today she badgered me to wear it all day. I kept saying it was for halloween, and we didn't want to get it dirty before hand, and you know what she said?? "I don't want to go trick or treating. They give out candy!"
Needless to say, she's allowed to wear her costume whenever she wants now.

Wow! Your little girl rawks!

cute
How wonderful she understands so early on ! I think it's the thrill of dressing up and trick or treating they like the most anyway ! My kids probably won't eat more then a piece or 2.
Does she eat a lot of Raw food ? I am struggling to transition my 5 & 8 year olds, my 15 yr old has been the easiest believe it or not ! His acne cleared up within a week and that's all the proof he needed that this is the way to eat !
Happy A Happy safe Halloween !

That is just the CUTEST thing! What a smart little (raw) cookie! I only WISH my kids would indicate they DON'T want candy!

How wonderful and adorable. YES, you are raisin' her right.

Fortunately for me, she's very impressionable, so she listens when I talk about food. This is not the first time she's turned down candy! She watched Fast Food Nation with us, and now if you're driving in the car and a McDonalds goes by, she yells out (everytime) Junk Food! Junk Food!! That movie really stuck with her.
I don't have her all raw yet, but I've had days when she is primarily. Typical fruit bat too. Oh, and loves sprouts and avocados. I've been lucky to have had her all day to myself for the last couple of months to work my food propaganda (heehee) before she goes back to school. She's already telling me what she wants in her lunches so she stays healthy. I just wish my husband didn't still eat meat!! It doesn't help me at all!
Happy Halloween To you all! (hopefully candy-less!)

LOLOL!!!!! You give her a big hug and kiss from M and me. We sure miss you guys!
BTW, folks, I think it's important to mention that this little girl also knows that "good for me chocolate" is a carob concoction. I talked her into one day it by blending carob and bananas and Christine has sort of run with it. This kid would eat a whole bunch of bananas in one sitting if you don't watch her!
Before I started going raw, Christine put her little girl on soy milk (before knowing what it can do to you). They came over one day and the kid asked for milk. (I had non-fat at the time.) I gave her milk in a special cup that we let her use and she takes a sip and says to me, "Hey! That's the wrong milk!" After Christine explained it to me, I got a good laugh. This kid is sharp!

LOL!! TOO precious! I'm over here truly laughing out loud at her "Hey, That's the wrong milk!" comment! That is just too cute for words!!

She's smart as a whip, that one! She has this way of saying things when sometimes.... I was thinking she was trying to get something like chocolate milk or something. LOL!!! I looked at her and said, "Milk is milk, sweetie..." just about the time Christine started laughing.

I just wish I could get her totally raw!! We're on a good start though. Oh Sachi, she mangled the term "good for me" into "free" so she's been calling it "free chocolate" !
She got into a little argument with her cousin while we were all in the car, and passed a Dunkin Donuts... She mentioned that donuts were bad, and her cousin said, "well, they are bad for you, but not for me." She turned around and said "Yes they are! They are bad for everyone! They have sugar and are fake!"
Some people are going to think I'm teaching her a bit extreme, but that's tough.
