Smile Wanting to do a 90 mainly juice fast?

    90 day* sorry.
I'm new to this idea, I just got a juicer and loaded up at the farmers market. I got apples, pears, kale, spinach, parsley, cucumbers, mint, carrots, celery, plums, blueberries, mango, watermelon, and cantaloupe.
I'm not sure how to get started thought, and another thing is I'm breastfeeding a 10 month old also and going to start fuenugreek to keep up with her.. Kinda have a few questions?

How much juice should you be drinking daily, examples of how much or many of what would be awesome?

Are there any supplements I need to be taking?

How much water do I use to make the juice or do I not add water?

Can I add some chicken a few times a week to keep protein up for nursing?

How do you cope with fasting and still cooking healthy meals for your kids?

    What are some hearty recipes?

Are there other things like flaxseed I need to be incorporating into this?

Thanks for your time and help!

Are you a raw vegan to start with? and What exactly are you hoping to achieve with this 90 day feast? and Why are you looking at 90 days as opposed to say 10 or any other number? and Why now and not when the baby is weaned?

You will probably get some comments about combining the feasting with feeding your baby. There are schools of thought both for and against. I tend more towards the against camp but that is pretty irrelevant!

Mainly I want to get rid of A LOT baby weight. I figured after 90 days I'll be a good habit of choosing healthy foods and maybe be more likely to stick to it. About 3 years ago I was very healthy and ideal shape running 6 miles a day, I got that way by sticking to a diet for 90 days over summer break and into a bad habit. Then got pregnant with my first and depressed eventually and all that healthy living went to hell. I figured if 90 days could make a bad habit it could make a good one too. I don't have time to run like that or starve for days anymore. You can't get sufficient calories from just eating fruits and veggies, allowing me to continue to breastfeed I was under the impression that it all depends on what you juice? And I think it would be a lot healthier for the baby doing this diet, because it's a lot healthier for me? I would love comments because I am very new to this whole thing, other then a few links I came across on google.

I would recommend that you join the 30 day challenge and eat a raw vegan diet. You can do three 30 day challenges in a row if 90 days is important but you don't need to juice feast to lose weight. Just eat a healthy raw vegan selection of foods and with the BFing you will lose weight.

The most important thing is to be healthy. Weight loss is a pleasing side effect of eating raw.
