    Default anyone doing NO dehydrating?

just wondering if anyone does NO dehydrating? i just feel that we don't need dehydrated foods. my kiddos are transitioning and have always had a great veg diet since birth, but as always, we seem to go with the flow and change up our diets as we go. i read years ago about not eating dehydrated foods and i do agree with the logic behind it.

anyone else on that path with their little people?

Lots of us don't have dehydrators. I don't dehydrate food although I will eat a little dried fruit and I would quite like to try flax crackers for example.

I never eat dehydrated foods but this week I am dehydrating for the first time in years.
I am attending 2 weddings (one of them being that of my only offspring) and I want my meals to look impressive so I am letting my need to impress people take priority over my need to eat great food.

I found that when we were at the early stages of Raw we ate more dehydrated food. I have definitely turned some follks to raw after trying some dehydrated kale chips/crackers and some other dishes. Helps the transition. Now that we're 8+months raw we HARDLY ever have dehydrated stuff.

Best of luck on your journey!

sweet, thanks everyone. i guess my reasoning is that it is one more step in taking my food away from basics. i do believe that a lot of hygenic raw foodies eat very simple and stick with food combining, etc. and don't dehydrate. i do like the idea of snacks for the kiddos at times, but i did sell the dehydrator years ago and don't want to buy another one.
